FloSports is a world-class sports media company strategically positioned to be the essential  destination for passionate sports fans, delighting them with live event coverage, breaking news,  highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles. We are growing Our Sports every day  by continuing to invest in our ever-expanding ecosystem, which consists of over a dozen sport  verticals and hundreds of streaming partners. FloSports is creating the home for college  conferences/leagues and sports like grappling, hockey, track & field, racing, cheer, wrestling,  and more, and we are looking for innovative and passionate people like you to help us! 

THE ROLE: 

This is a strategic individual contributor role responsible for shaping and driving the commercial success of FloWrestling. The role acts as the primary business leader for the vertical, defining where and how the sport can grow within FloSports. This includes identifying commercial opportunities, audience expansion pathways, and partnership potential across the wrestling ecosystem as key priorities and impacts of their role.

From youth and college programs to the Olympic stage, you’ll use your deep understanding of wrestling and its community to craft a clear strategic roadmap for revenue and brand growth. You’ll then work cross-functionally with our internal teams — including Rights & Programming, Content, Marketing, and Live Events Production — to align and execute against that vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and own FloWrestling’s vertical growth strategy, defining long-term opportunities and near-term initiatives that drive revenue, audience, and brand reach.

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal leaders to bring the strategy to life:

    • Collaborate with the Rights & Programming team to identify, prioritize, and support live event opportunities and partnerships.

    • Work with the Marketing and Content teams to shape audience growth, fan engagement, and storytelling strategies aligned to the wrestling community.

    • Provide strategic input to the Live Events Production team to ensure FloWrestling coverage authentically represents the sport and drives viewership.

  • Cultivate strong external relationships across the wrestling ecosystem — including governing bodies, college programs, coaches, athletes, influencers, and event organizers.

  • Represent FloWrestling publicly at major events, conferences, and within the community, building visibility and credibility for both the vertical and FloSports overall.
    Analyze performance and market trends to identify emerging opportunities, gaps, and risks — and adjust strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

  • Collaborate with corporate development and leadership on new initiatives, including partnerships, integrations, or expansion into adjacent markets.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

  • Deep knowledge of wrestling, from grassroots and collegiate programs to elite and international competition; strong awareness of key stakeholders, programs, and influencers within the sport.

  • 7+ years of experience in wrestling, sports management, media, or a related strategic or business-focused role.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic growth plans that align multiple teams toward shared goals.

  • Proven experience collaborating across departments such as marketing, content, product, or partnerships.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills — equally effective with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable strategy.

  • Comfortable serving as a public-facing representative of a brand and engaging with the wrestling community across digital, social, and live platforms.

BONUS

  • Background in sports media, streaming, or OTT environments.

  • Experience supporting rights negotiations or sports partnership deals.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling or revenue forecasting for sports verticals.

  • Prior collaboration with product or engineering teams to inform digital fan experiences.
