Role Location:

This is a global, remote role, open to candidates based in:

Canada: Ontario or British Columbia

US: California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Washington 

How We Work: 

We have a global team across Canada, US, Australia & the UK and in this role you’ll be expected to collaborate with these teams virtually (we’re just a slack or zoom call away).

We encourage asynchronous collaboration and offer a high degree of flexibility in your working hours to accommodate these global interactions when necessary.

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Global Director of Growth Marketing to lead our global growth marketing strategy, with focus on digital channels and funnel optimization for Ignition. You’ll work closely with Sales, PMM, Field Marketing and other key functions to design and execute high-impact programs and campaigns that drive demand, increase pipeline, and deliver measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driver of digital first acquisition strategy (Inbound & Outbound)

  • Grow digital contribution across Ignition’s web properties through optimized digital experience across the buyer’s lifecycle

  • Increase self-serve signups and adoption

  • Champion Test & Learn agenda to encourage test and learn mindset across the Marketing org

  • Build sophisticated buyer’s journeys aimed at increasing awareness and conversion across key segments

  • Collaborate with MOPs and Sales to optimize lead flow, prioritization and outcomes 

  • Manage, measure, and optimize our paid media program

  • Driving force in evolving ABM program to grow up-market pipeline contribution

  • Optimize website experience to increase engagement and conversion

 

Data-Driven Campaign Execution and Analysis:

  • Leverage intent data, account-based marketing (ABM), and best-in-class demand generation practices to develop scalable, repeatable customer acquisition strategies.

  • Provide clear visibility and analytics on funnel metrics, channel performance, and conversion rates, reporting weekly and quarterly on lead generation effectiveness to the leadership team.

  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing and RevOps to align digital efforts with local field marketing initiatives, ensuring a seamless customer journey across digital and in-person touchpoints.

Sales & Marketing Alignment:

  • Act as a central point of collaboration for growth marketing efforts, aligning closely with Sales, RevOps and Regional Marketing on campaigns for maximum impact.

  • Partner with Regional Marketing to complement their field-based campaigns (e.g., events, webinars, partner activations) with strategies to maximize growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of growth B2B marketing experience with expertise in high volume global SaaS businesses. Expertise operating in hybrid self-serve (PLG) and sales-led motions. Experience driving international growth across regions and languages. Proven track record driving growth in new and emerging categories with emphasis on demand creation tactics. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Nice to have: experience working in Fintech, Payments or Professional Services 

  • Digital Demand Generation Expertise: Deep understanding of digital-first demand generation tactics, including SEO, AEO, SEM, account-based marketing, and CRO, with a test-and-learn mindset. 

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting data to assess channel performance, funnel metrics, and conversion rates, and translating insights into actionable strategies. Experience with Amplitude preferred.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of building, leading, and mentoring digital teams, fostering a growth-focused culture of continuous improvement.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, adept at articulating digital strategies and campaign performance to stakeholders.

  • Results-Driven and Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated success in setting and achieving measurable goals within budget and timelines, with a strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial drive.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Nice to have: Experience marketing to accounting or other professional services

 

Compensation: 

Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on state/location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.

For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact over the course of their tenure at Ignition.

United States based: 

This role has a minimum annual salary of USD $160,000 and maximum annual salary of USD $215,000 (plus variable, equity, health insurance & other wellness benefits)

Canada based:

This role has a minimum annual base of CAD $180,000 and maximum annual salary of CAD $235,000 (plus variable, equity & benefits)
