The Global Director, Shopify & eCommerce Platform Alliances will drive Insider One’s growth through supporting formation and management of mutually beneficial Go-To-Market plans with Shopify, a strategic partner of Insider One globally.
 
You will work cross-functionally across product, marketing, sales and customer success teams, to help in the execution of go-to-market strategies and programs to drive pipeline and revenue growth through and with Shopify. This role requires a thorough understanding of Insider One’s product capabilities, sales processes and partner ecosystem to ensure our go-to-market engine is primed and enabled to collaborate with strategic partners and drive mutual growth.

What You Will Need

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in eCommerce and/or Customer Engagement platforms
  • Deep familiarity with the joint value proposition of Shopify partnering with customer engagement platform providers, particularly targeting merchants for B2C sales motions
  • Familiarity with Shopify’s customer success processes targeted to increase GMV for merchants is a significant plus
  • High analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand complex issues and develop/apply simplifying frameworks to facilitate broader organizational understanding, decision-making, and action
  • Deep understanding of solution selling with a joint solution offering from Insider One + Shopify
  • Ability to establish clear targets with partners and develop plans and objectives to achieve those targets
  • Output-oriented, with a very strong ability to personally create high-quality, customer-facing content including presentations and datasheets
  • Excellent project management skills; able to effectively manage multiple ongoing projects to meet deadlines
  • Experience with the B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) business model
  • Experience in the marketing technology space preferred but not required

What You Will Do

  • Co-own the joint global business plan (including Sales & Marketing plans) with your Shopify counterpart
  • Collaborate on GTM planning and track progress to plan
  • Collaborate with the Insider One Product & Shopify tech partnership team to lead joint roadmap development and scoping, and track progress to plan
  • Align with Shopify and execute on sales enablement and account mapping initiatives
  • Be accountable for updating the app listing and partner directory to highlight Insider One with brands
  • Stay up to date on required migrations/APIs
  • Collaborate with the Insider One Product & Shopify tech partnership teams to investigate opportunities to improve integration or build new products for joint customers
  • Manage partner program certification questionnaires by collaborating with (and seeking input from) relevant teams (e.g., security, product, sales, solution consulting, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Insider One regional partnership and sales teams to drive strategic growth initiatives with Shopify globally
  • Collaborate with Insider One Regional Field Marketers to engage with Shopify to plan joint activation at key industry events and trade shows (including, but not limited to, NRF, Shoptalk, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Insider One marketing team and the partner to plan and execute co-marketing activities with Shopify
  • Generate leads and track your pipeline and revenue generated through and with Shopify globally
  • Leverage Shopify to increase Insider One’s brand awareness globally
  • Ensure all the adjacent organizations within Insider One (Product, Sales, Marketing, Solution Consulting, and Customer Success teams) are continually kept informed of progress to plan
  • Work with Insider One global offices to continually improve their partnership practice, grow their portfolio of partners, create go-to-market plans, drive expansion opportunities, and manage and grow the partnership
