What you’ll achieve
As a Global Privacy Program Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to key Dell Business Units to drive adoption of Privacy policies, standards, and procedures across the organization. Reporting to Dell’s Director of Privacy Management and Compliance, you will implement Privacy Office strategic priorities, proactively identify and manage privacy risks within the business units you cover, ensure that Dell operates within the law, and provide guidance on privacy matters. This will include ensuring that all business processes, projects, applications, systems, processes and data exchanges are in accordance with Dell’s Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, Procedures and Standards.
You will:

  • Proactively develop privacy solutions that will mature the privacy capability of your assigned business units (clients)

  • Develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design/privacy-by-default requirements, including conducting Privacy Impact Assessments on internal tools, processes, products, solutions and services

  • Assist with the resolution of privacy complaints and remediation efforts, as well as data subject rights requests, coordinating with legal and business partners as necessary

  • Create and perform targeted privacy trainings and communications to drive privacy awareness, accountability and compliance across business unit processes, projects and applications

Essential Requirements

  • 12+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; including 5+ years of global privacy compliance program management experience along with experience with direct support of a business unit or function on privacy issues

  • General knowledge of foundational requirements of privacy law (such as CCPA and GDPR) and industry best practices

  • Sound technical expertise on global privacy risk management with ability to apply smart risk and anticipate privacy compliance issues/risks

  • Strong communication, organizational and project management skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with HR privacy issues and/or Privacy by Design in product development

  • Legal qualification and/or IAPP/CIPP/CIPM privacy certifications are a plus

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $154,700 - $200,200.
