ThreatDown is looking for..

A Global Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our marketing team 100% remote. This position plays a critical role in the success of our organization by proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities. Responsibilities include outbounding tactics to generate new leads, managing inbound hand-raisers and engaging in account-based marketing plays that require a personalized approach. The SDR owns the initial sales engagement with leads entering the sales funnel and drives to set quality meetings for ThreatDown’s internal sales teams and partners.  


Target Compensation: $60,000 base + commission


What You Will Do:

  • Complete the demand generation process by developing opportunities with potential in-market accounts and hand-raisers 
  • Expand the buying team on target accounts by identifying project champions and key stakeholders  
  • Consistently execute the lead process and maintain accurate records in Salesforce 
  • Shape messaging and personalize communications based on buyer insights 
  • Create and deliver qualified appointments 
  • Ensure follow-up by passing in-market accounts to appropriate team members and/or partners with meaningful next steps 
  • Understand the ThreatDown value proposition to overcome objections of prospective customers 
  • Assist in working live and virtual events when needed 

Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a sales or business development role 
  • Technology or software sales experience required 
  • Ability to understand the customer’s need and communicate the company value proposition 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong time management with organizational skills 
  • Ability to learn quickly and to adapt easily to change 
  • Passion to help our partners become more profitable and our customers to be more secure 
  • Experience using CRM systems, Salesforce.com preferred 
  • Experience with tools including Sales Engagement, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and DemandBase are a plus
