Our Global Supply Chain team works across Dyson, supporting our Research Design and Development (RDD) and our business Categories. Whichever part of our business you’re supporting, you’ll be playing a vital role in strategic decision making, affecting the design of our machines and the growth ambitions of the business. 

 

About the role  

At Dyson, our Global Supply Chain (GSC) brings 2D designs to life, delivering innovative products directly into our customers' hands. While the process might sound straightforward, it involves a complex series of steps: from designing and establishing production lines to procuring materials, ensuring smooth operations across all sites, and coordinating the daily global delivery of thousands of finished products. Moreover, all these activities must be executed smartly and cost-effectively, allowing us to reinvest savings back into our people and our business. GSC is also committed to sustainability and reducing environmental impact by refurbishing and recycling products returned by our customers. Every year, we strive to improve, developing the right supply chain strategies and plans to foster continuous innovation and ensure Dyson stays ahead in a competitive landscape.

Dyson’s Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme is a two-year scheme. During the programme, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of business functions, including (but not limited to) Manufacturing Engineering, Global Outsourced Operations, Global New Product Operations, Global Procurement, Global Outsourced Procurement, Global Indirect Procurement, Global Refurbishment Operations, Logistics, and Strategy and Transformation. 

 

The scope of our Global Supply Chain is vast, offering endless exciting opportunities for growth and development. During the program, you will join strong, high-performing teams from around the world, united in achieving the remarkable feats described above. More than just honing technical engineering skills, a career in GSC equips you with a diverse set of business competencies—ranging from project management and data analysis to presentation skills and global stakeholder management. You can expect big responsibility and you’ll be supported with a development framework, enabling professional growth, training and opportunities to hone your skills and evolve your knowledge. This variety prepares you to become a well-rounded leader, poised for a successful future at Dyson. Together with colleagues across the globe, you’ll innovate and push boundaries, improving our processes and creating a sustainable tomorrow. 

About you 

You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to be:  

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial, or Process) or with a specialisation in Supply Chain. 

  • No more than two years of relevant work experience post-graduation (PhD students are not eligible for our graduate programmes). 

  • Graduating by August 2026 

  • Demonstrate problem solving skills, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities.  

  • Demonstrate how you have applied your technical knowledge and skills (financial, analytical and numerical skills) to solve problems, either through your university projects or past internship experience. 

  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience and respond constructively to new demands and challenges. 

  • Experience with SAP, SAP BW, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel and/or other reporting tools will be an advantage. 

  • Strong drive to find creative solutions to new challenges. 

  • Passionate about Dyson and our technology to help us meet our ambitious plans.  

  • Committed to learning about global supply chain and how our business operates 

  • Happy to build your own networks to collaborate and learn from the experts around you. 

  • Professional and articulate to actively participate in discussions.
