  • Develop high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, concept notes, and supporting materials that articulate our vision, programs, and technical work.

  • Manage timelines, submission schedules, and compliance requirements for multiple grants simultaneously.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information, data, and metrics needed for proposals.

  • Maintain a grant tracking system, including deadlines, submissions, and reporting obligations.

  • Draft follow-up materials such as progress reports and impact summaries for awarded grants.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience writing and winning grants, ideally for hardware.

  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills, with an eye for clarity and impact.

  • Strong research and analytical abilities to identify viable funding sources.

  • Ability to translate complex technical or product concepts into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure is a plus.

  • Familiarity with budget creation and project cost estimation for grant applications is a plus.

Details

  • Hours: Flexible, expecting 5-20 hours per week (depends on grant volume)

  • Compensation: Hourly rate will depend on relevant experience and location

  • Location: Remote (Bay Area preferred)

  • Start date: ASAP

If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
