POSITION SUMMARY
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the continued growth and evolution of our brand across retail, digital, franchise, and consumer touchpoints. This role is responsible for producing compelling visual content that elevates brand perception, supports marketing initiatives, and drives engagement across multiple channels. The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with modern content sensibilities and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You should be comfortable moving between print, digital, packaging-adjacent creative, presentation design, social media assets, video editing, and production-ready marketing materials while maintaining a consistent and elevated brand identity.
This position works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, leadership, franchise partners, and field teams to bring campaigns and ideas to life.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your day-to-day will move between several creative formats, but the throughline is always the same: produce high-quality, brand-aligned work that serves real business needs.
You'll design marketing collateral, build and modernize presentations, edit video content from field teams, maintain website and landing page visuals, and create graphics that simplify technical concepts for both internal and external audiences.
You'll work directly with sales, operations, leadership, and field personnel, translating their ideas, pitches, and raw content into polished visual assets. You'll also act as a key creative partner for field teams capturing photo and video content on-site, helping guide what content is needed and transforming it into usable marketing material.
A significant part of this role involves managing your own timelines, maintaining organized asset libraries, enforcing brand consistency, and ensuring creative deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. This position is based in-office at our Miami, Florida location and requires full-time, on-site attendance. Please note that this role is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Graphic Designer will be expected to consistently deliver outstanding outcomes in the following areas:
- Develop visual concepts and execute creative assets for branding, marketing collateral, social media, presentations, digital campaigns, retail promotions, and internal communications using Adobe Creative Suite and other approved tools.
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all creative assets, including typography, color, layout systems, imagery, iconography, and overall visual identity.
- Design, build, and modernize presentation decks for sales, operations, leadership, franchise development, and retail initiatives by translating spoken ideas or rough concepts into visually compelling storytelling.
- Edit raw content into polished promotional, training, recruiting, or internal-use assets.
- Design digital assets for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, eCommerce initiatives, and social media platforms while ensuring visual consistency across all channels.
- Update and maintain website and landing page visuals using drag-and-drop platforms and basic HTML/CSS editing where needed.
- Support retail and franchise marketing initiatives through the creation of in-store signage, POP displays, promotional graphics, seasonal campaigns, menus, and printed collateral.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that align with broader business objectives and seasonal launches.
- Act as the primary creative partner for field teams by guiding content capture, reviewing usability, and owning the end-to-end process of turning field-generated media into finished assets.
- Manage creative projects from concept through delivery, including timelines, approvals, revisions, file preparation, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Maintain a centralized and highly organized library of creative assets, templates, and working files while adhering to established file management and naming conventions.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all deliverables before publication or distribution to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and production readiness.
- Stay current with modern design trends, content formats, social media creative trends, and evolving consumer-facing visual strategies within the CPG and retail industries.
