The Company
Are you a person who is passionate about hard problems, enjoys driven and talented people, and adds your creative personal touch to the work you do? Then you have come to the right place! Around here, we get pretty excited when it comes to delivering memorable experiences and quality custom products in innovative ways. We’ve been fortunate to work with brands such as Google and LinkedIn, and clients like Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, and Kacey Musgraves.
At Sock Club, we believe no task is insurmountable as long as you cultivate a collaborative team of innovative minds that not only understand a vision, but more importantly, want to share in it.
About the Role
We're growing, and we're launching a new products function that needs someone to help build its sales and growth engine. Think of this as a startup incubator inside an established business: you'll have the freedom to build strategy, messaging, and outbound systems in the early stage, with a clear path to folding your work into our broader sales organization as the function matures.
Initially, you'll focus on launching a new product line adjacent to our core custom sock business. The product portfolio is still evolving, allowing you to influence not only how we bring these products to market, but also how this new function grows over time.
This is a full-funnel role, not a traditional SDR seat. You'll own outbound strategy, build the prospecting engine, and stay involved through client communication and close. Along the way, you'll collaborate closely with marketing, operations, design, sales, and the executive team to identify opportunities, refine messaging, and shape our go-to-market approach.
Because this is an early-stage function, your priorities will evolve as we learn what drives the most growth. Rather than stepping into an established playbook, you'll help create it.
You'll have direct executive support and mentoring as you build. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to create systems, test ideas, and make a lasting impact- not simply execute someone else's process.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute the outbound strategy: Create and optimize outbound email sequences, cold-calling campaigns, and prospecting motions that generate qualified pipeline.
- Own the full sales cycle: Manage opportunities from first outreach through client communication, service, and close, ensuring a strong customer experience throughout.
- Shape our go-to-market approach: Partner with marketing, operations, design, sales, and leadership to identify target markets, refine messaging, and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Create sales content: Develop messaging, snippets, and client-facing materials that improve outreach effectiveness and support new product launches.
- Measure and optimize performance: Maintain CRM accuracy, track key metrics, and use data to continuously improve outreach, conversion, and pipeline generation.
- Build the playbook: Document successful processes and best practices so this function can scale alongside the business.
What We're Looking For
- Strong sales instincts paired with a personable, consultative communication style.
- Marketing and business acumen: you enjoy thinking about positioning, messaging, and market opportunities, not just activity metrics.
- Experience managing outbound prospecting, sales pipelines, and CRM workflows.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats across sales, client relationships, and light content creation.
- Curious, resourceful, and excited to experiment. You'll have the autonomy to test new approaches, backed by executive support and the flexibility to iterate as we learn what works.
