Own go-to-market and hands-on growth execution for simulator and flatscreen launches. Design and run experiments across channels, track acquisition/activation/retention metrics, coordinate with product and partnerships, and report learnings to leadership.
About GOLF+
GOLF+ is building the leading platform for off-course golf. What began as the premier VR golf experience is now evolving into a multi-platform ecosystem spanning VR, simulator golf, and flatscreen experiences - serving millions of golfers worldwide.
Since our launch in 2020, we’ve had nearly 2 million downloads and over 4 billion shots hit in the game. We are the official VR partner of the PGA Tour, following investment from strategic partners including Ben Crenshaw, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Tom Brady, Steph Curry, and Mike Trout. Our team is moving fast and expanding, and this is an exciting time to join us on our journey to shape the future of off course golf.
In 2026, our focus is on expansion: successfully launching GOLF+ on simulator and flatscreen platforms, while continuing to invest in the long-term VR vision. This role will be central to making those launches successful and establishing GOLF+ as a credible, differentiated entrant across the broader golf ecosystem.
The Role
We’re hiring a Growth Lead to own growth strategy and hands-on execution across platforms, with a near-term emphasis on new simulator and flatscreen product launches. This is a role for someone early in their career who is exceptionally sharp, creative, analytical, and motivated to take ideas from concept through execution.
You’ll report directly to the President and work closely with an existing Product Marketing Manager, product, analytics, finance, and partnerships. This role is intentionally hands-on - you’ll be expected to design experiments, execute quickly, and turn early wins into repeatable growth systems. This is not a purely strategic or advisory role. We’re looking for someone who wants to build, test, and learn in real time.
What You’ll Do
Lead Growth for New Launches
Own go-to-market strategy for GOLF+ launches on simulator and flatscreen platforms
Define launch positioning, priority channels, and success metrics
Coordinate closely with product on timing, features, and iteration cycles
Help GOLF+ make a meaningful “first impression” as a new entrant
Drive Hands-On Execution
Design and run growth experiments across channels (product-led loops, partnerships, creators, community, paid tests, and unconventional ideas)
Move quickly from idea → test → learn → iterate
Personally execute early experiments while building repeatable systems that can scale
Own Growth Analytics & Communication
Set priorities for the growth function
Define and track core growth metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention
Oversee experimentation measurement and post-launch analysis
Prepare weekly growth updates for GOLF+ leadership: what happened, what we learned, and what we’re doing next
What We’re Looking For
Required
4-8 years of experience in the consumer / technology industry, with experience bringing new products to market
Passion for golf
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfort working with data and metrics to make decisions
Clear communicator who can synthesize complex information into concise takeaways
Creative, curious thinker who enjoys testing unconventional ideas
Bias toward action and learning over perfection
Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Fluency with AI tools as a force multiplier in daily work - from analysis and research to experimentation, content creation, and workflow automation
Nice to Have
Austin-based strongly preferred
Experience in gaming, consumer tech, sports, or creator-driven platforms
Exposure to product-led growth or multi-platform launches
Experience in a startup environment
This Role Is Not
A narrow paid-marketing role
A purely strategic or oversight-only position
A slow, heavily process-driven environment
Why Join GOLF+
Opportunity to shape the future of golf
Real ownership and influence over a critical phase of company growth
Direct exposure to leadership and decision-making
A role that grows with you - in scope, impact, and leadership responsibility
Compensation
In our commitment to attracting top talent, we recognize the importance of offering competitive compensation packages, which will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
GOLF+ also cares about you and your overall well-being, and that’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees that includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan including an employer match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, unlimited paid time off, paid parental leave, and several paid holidays, golf stipend, among others.
