About Us

Most AI is frozen in place - it doesn't adapt to the world. We think that's backwards. Our mandate is to build efficient intelligence that evolves in real-time. Our vision is AI systems that are flexible, personalized, and accessible to everyone. We believe efficiency is what makes this possible - it's how we expand access and ensure innovation benefits the many, not the few. We believe in talent density: bringing together the best and most driven individuals to push the boundaries of continual adaptation. We're looking for builders and creative thinkers ready to shape the next era of intelligence.

The Role

We're looking for a founding Growth Lead to drive user adoption and external partnerships. You'll work hand-in-hand with marketing and GTM to grow our base of active users week over week. You coordinate large scale hackathons, perfect our user onboarding experience for developers across the world that want to own and shape AI, cultivate partnerships with companies across the AI ecosystem, and create joint go-to-market motions that put Adaption in front of the right technical audiences. This is a high-ownership role with a direct line to company strategy — you will empower our first million users to shape the next era of intelligence.

Responsibilities
  • Drive weekly active user growth. Own the number. Set targets, track progress, and continuously identify what's working and what isn't across acquisition, activation, and retention. Own the active strategy, and bring a rigorous, data-driven lens to every channel and motion.

  • Run high-velocity experiments. Launch and measure multiple growth experiments each week across the full funnel. Quickly scale what works, cut what doesn't, and build compounding systems from the learnings — not one-off campaigns.

  • Build and activate the ecosystem. Identify key partnerships that scale growth and activate those partnerships— meetups, hackathons, workshops — that bring developers into the Adaption community. Develop partnerships and joint go-to-market motions with complementary companies across the AI and developer tooling space.

  • Work cross-functionally. Partner closely with marketing, GTM, and the founders to align on messaging, campaigns, and strategy. Feed market and user insights directly into product discussions to help shape the roadmap.

Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of growth experience at a tech company or startup - ideally in a product-led or developer-first environment

  • Comfortable working with and around technical products. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can hold a substantive conversation with one and understand how developers evaluate and adopt tools

  • Both creative and data-driven. You have strong instincts for what will resonate with a technical audience, and you back those instincts with measurement. You know the difference between a vanity metric and a signal that matters

  • Proven ability to build and manage partnerships — identifying the right companies to work with, structuring joint motions, and following through to drive real outcomes on both sides

  • Scrappy and self-directed. You're comfortable with ambiguity, can prioritize ruthlessly, and know when to move fast and when to slow down and build the system properly

Above all, we're looking for great teammates who make work feel lighter and aren't afraid to go out on a limb with bold ideas. You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to be adaptable. We encourage you to apply, even if you don't check every box.

Benefits
  • Flexible work: In-person collaboration in the Bay Area, a distributed global-first team, and team offsites.

  • Adaption Passport: Annual travel stipend to explore a country you've never visited. We're building intelligence that evolves alongside you, so we encourage you to keep expanding your horizons.

  • Lunch Stipend: Weekly meal allowance for take-out or grocery delivery.

  • Well-Being: Comprehensive medical benefits and generous paid time off.
