The Growth Lifecycle Manager will design and optimize lifecycle experiences for user activation, engagement, retention, and revenue, leveraging AI and data analytics in a fast-paced environment.

Alt is unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the $5 B trading-card market. We let collectors buy, sell, vault, and finance their cards in one place and we are backed by leaders at Stripe, Coinbase, Seven Seven Six, and pro athletes like Tom Brady and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Our next frontier is real-time pricing at scale—the Alt Value that powers every trade, loan, and product on the platform.

As Alt’s Growth Lifecycle Manager, you will own growth through the product and lifecycle, not just top-of-funnel marketing.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Growth, and Data, with a clear mandate:
design, build, and optimize lifecycle experiences that drive activation, engagement, retention, and revenue across our native app and platform.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has shipped real lifecycle systems in fast-moving environments and understands that great product experience is the growth engine.

What You’ll Do:Own Lifecycle Growth End-to-End
  • Design and execute lifecycle programs across email, push, SMS, in-app messaging, and product surfaces
  • Build and optimize onboarding, activation, re-engagement, and retention flows for buyers and sellers
  • Leverage marketing automation, behavioral data, and ML-based techniques to create personalized experiences at scale
  • Translate product moments into timely, relevant lifecycle touchpoints
Drive Product-Led Growth
  • Partner deeply with Product, Design, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Sales to shape communication inside the product, not just around it
  • Influence UX, copy, sequencing, and transactional triggers that improve conversion and trust
  • Identify and unblock growth bottlenecks related to experience, tooling, or execution
Operate at Speed
  • Move fast, wear multiple hats, and execute without perfect inputs
  • Build scrappy solutions when needed (templates, HTML, tooling workarounds)
  • Balance strategy with execution
Experiment, Measure, Iterate
  • Own lifecycle experimentation and measurement across activation, conversion, and retention
  • Analyze behavior, cohorts, and funnel drop-offs to inform iteration
  • Continuously refine programs based on data, not opinion
Leverage AI to Scale Impact
  • Use AI to accelerate lifecycle creation, experimentation, personalization, and iteration
  • Apply AI thoughtfully to improve speed, relevance, and learning velocity
  • Focus on outcomes, not buzzwords
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in growth, lifecycle, or product-led growth, ideally in a marketplace, fintech, consumer app, or similar high-velocity environment
  • Proven ability to personally build and optimize lifecycle programs, not just oversee them
  • Strong experience with lifecycle tools (Iterable or similar) across email, push, SMS, and in-app -  experience with WhatsApp, RMS, Moveable Ink, or Live Events is a plus.
  • Ability to create complex audience segmentations and operate within a large data set - Experience with Hightouch or SQL is preferred
  • Deep appreciation for native app experiences and mobile-first growth
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast with limited resources
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Design to drive growth through experience
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Amplitude, Segment, Branch, or similar)
What You’ll Get From Us:
  • A seat at the table to help shape the future of Alt and the alternative asset space
  • Autonomy and ownership on projects that matter
  • $100/month work-from-home stipend
  • $200/month wellness stipend
  • WeWork office stipend
  • 401(k) retirement benefits
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Competitive healthcare benefits, including HSA, for you and your dependent(s)
