We run growth marketing and product experimentation across all product categories including Application Services, Cloudflare One and Developer Platform, and all Plans such as Free, Pro, Business & Enterprise. We are looking for a detail-oriented Growth Marketing Intern to own the transformation of our marketing and transactional emails for our high-volume Self-Serve business (Free, Pro, and Business plans) and help develop and document our messaging strategy.
Responsibilities
- Update our email templates following recommendations from our recent email audit ensuring all emails are accurate, on-brand and follow email best practices.
- Update the multi-step logic behind all our automated email workflows following recommendations from our recent email audit.
- Update and maintain our messaging matrix to map out possible customer states to the correct recommended messaging and email templates.
- Map out the customer journey for each customer type and each product, across all channels as a whole and then, separately, across the website (all domains and subdomains including error pages, turnstile, ai., blog. etc) and the customer dashboard.
- Update and maintain our messaging matrix to match the map above.
- Help define and update the messaging framework for the self-serve persona.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Available for a full-time 12-week internship, working from our Austin office 3-5 days a week.

- Experience with email marketing, in particular, and marketing strategies and tactics in general.
- Experience using Iterable or a similar email platform.
- A strong understanding of what Cloudflare does and how it helps our customers.
- Good knowledge of the internet and how websites/apps are being built, secured and improved in the backend.
