Job Description

The GTM Enablement Specialist plays a critical role in the ongoing success of our regional Sales and Business Development teams. Whether you’re a high-performing Zendesk BDR looking to scale your impact, or a seasoned sales development expert with a passion for enablement, this is your opportunity to help others win.

In this role, you will own onboarding, continuous learning, and prospecting excellence across your region. You’ll optimize messaging, refine outbound sequences, and deliver high-impact enablement that empowers BDRs to hit — and exceed — their pipeline goals. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position where coaching meets strategy, and results are measured in ramp time, conversion rates, and team confidence.

What You’ll Do
  • Onboard New BDRs: Deliver in-person and virtual onboarding programs to ramp new hires quickly and confidently.

  • Continuous Enablement: Design and deliver ongoing training to upskill BDRs on messaging, tools, objection handling, and prospecting strategy.

  • Sequence & Messaging Optimization: Analyze performance data and collaborate with ops, marketing, and enablement teams to optimize outbound cadences and email/voice/social messaging.

  • Field Coaching & Support: Partner with SDR Managers to identify skill gaps, deliver tactical coaching, and ensure reps are applying best practices.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Enablement, Business Operations, and Product teams to ensure the Sales Development organization has the tools, knowledge, and content needed to be successful.

  • Regional Expertise: Stay close to the field — surfacing regional insights, scaling successful experiments, and sharing voice-of-the-BDR feedback to improve programs.

What You Bring
  • 2–4+ years in Sales Development, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment

  • Current or former BDR at Zendesk (a plus!) or equivalent experience in a fast-paced sales team

  • Deep understanding of outbound prospecting tactics and modern sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo)

  • Proven ability to coach others, lead trainings, and explain concepts clearly and persuasively

  • Data-driven mindset with an eye for what’s working — and what’s not

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong collaborator and self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment

  • Passion for mentoring, enablement, and helping others achieve their best

Why Join Zendesk?
  • Make a measurable impact on a global sales development team

  • Be part of a customer-first, employee-empowered culture

  • Collaborate with passionate, innovative professionals across departments

  • Access competitive benefits, professional development resources, and leadership opportunities
