Clerkie is a fintech startup on a mission to democratize financial wellness using the power of artificial intelligence.
We launched in 2018 with a consumer app designed to support the nearly 123 million underserved Americans navigating debt. Today, we power both sides of the ecosystem — delivering AI-driven financial guidance to borrowers while equipping creditors with cutting-edge B2B software to manage loan losses more effectively.
By pairing consumer experience with enterprise infrastructure, Clerkie is building a network that helps millions get out of debt — while helping financial institutions operate more responsibly.
We’re a remote-first team of 40+ employees across four U.S. time zones, backed by $41M in funding (including a $33M Series A in 2023). Investors include Citi Ventures, Left Lane Capital, Wellington Ventures, Flourish Ventures, and Vestigo Ventures.
About the internshipWe’re hiring a GTM Intern to join our Growth & Go-To-Market team in a part-time role (minimum 20 hours per week). This internship is designed for someone who wants real ownership, meaningful exposure, and room to grow. We are remote-first and also maintain an office in San Francisco. Bay Area candidates are prioritized, and interns are welcome to work from our SF office if desired. While travel is not required, we gather as a team throughout the year and interns are invited to participate when timing aligns.
