The opportunity

Velotic is building a more coordinated approach to Analyst Relations and market intelligence to strengthen its position in the market and bring relevant external insight into business decisions.

We are seeking a Head of Analyst Relations & Market Insights to lead relationships with key industry analysts and translate analyst, market, and competitive intelligence into actionable insight for the business.

As a key member of the Corporate Marketing leadership team, this individual will partner closely with Product Marketing, Product, Sales, External Communications, and business leaders to coordinate analyst engagement and ensure relevant market insight informs positioning, go-to-market priorities, and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate combines direct Analyst Relations experience with strong market and competitive intelligence capabilities and can build trusted external relationships while translating complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Job Description

Key responsibilities

Analyst relations & industry engagement

  • Develop and lead Velotic's global Analyst Relations strategy, building strong relationships with priority firms and analysts across relevant markets.
  • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, evaluations, and other engagements across the business.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product, and business leaders to prepare executives and subject matter experts for effective analyst engagements.
  • Track analyst research, feedback, and market perspectives, translating relevant insights into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage analyst subscriptions, research access, and related investments to maximise business value.
  • Support appropriate use of analyst research, citations, and licensed content in partnership with relevant stakeholders.

Market intelligence & competitive insight

  • Identify and prioritise the analyst, market, competitive, and industry insights needed to support business decisions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive developments, category dynamics, and emerging opportunities relevant to Velotic's strategy and portfolio.
  • Synthesise external research and competitive intelligence into clear, decision-ready insights for executives and business leaders.
  • Develop and maintain relevant competitive intelligence resources to support positioning, go-to-market activity, and commercial teams.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure market and competitive insights are applied effectively across the business.

Business insight & activation

  • Translate analyst, market, and competitive intelligence into clear recommendations that inform corporate strategy, positioning, product priorities, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Deliver concise executive briefings and updates on relevant market developments, competitive activity, and analyst perspectives.
  • Partner across Marketing to apply relevant analyst and market insights to positioning, messaging, and go-to-market activity.
  • Share relevant insights with Sales and other commercial teams to strengthen market understanding and competitive readiness.

Analyst Relations coordination

  • Establish practical processes and operating rhythms to coordinate Analyst Relations activity across Velotic.
  • Maintain visibility into priority analyst engagements and ensure relevant stakeholders are aligned on objectives, preparation, follow-up, and key insights.
  • Help teams across the business engage effectively and consistently with the analyst community.

Research & knowledge management

  • Establish efficient approaches for capturing, synthesising, and sharing analyst, market, and competitive intelligence across the organisation.
  • Use AI-enabled research and synthesis tools where appropriate to improve the speed and accessibility of market intelligence.
  • Maintain accessible resources that enable relevant teams to find and apply current analyst and market insights.

 

Qualifications

What you bring

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, strategy, or related functions within B2B technology, enterprise software, industrial technology, or SaaS organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience directly managing Analyst Relations programmes and relationships with leading industry analyst firms.
  • Strong understanding of analyst engagement models, including briefings, inquiries, evaluations, research access, and related investments.
  • Experience conducting and synthesising market and competitive research into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear insights.
  • Experience partnering effectively across Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership.
  • Experience operating successfully within complex, matrixed global organisations.
  • Strong judgement, intellectual curiosity, analytical rigour, and relationship-building skills.
