About Re:Build

At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.
We operate a sophisticated, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.
The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. (link to The Re:Build Way principles)

Who we are looking for

We're looking for an experienced process excellence practitioner who has actually built the kind of processes that teams use — not ones that get drafted, launched, and quietly abandoned. You've spent 7-10+ years deep in commercial operations, GTM operations, or process excellence, and you've learned through hands-on experience that the gap between a well-designed process and a forgotten one usually comes down to adoption, documentation, and continuous reinforcement. You know Lean principles—process flow analysis, consistent procedures, cause investigation, and PDCA—not as theory but as tools you use daily. You are comfortable applying them in a commercial, non-manufacturing context.

What sets you apart is that you treat AI as a working instrument rather than a talking point. You've hands-on deployed LLM-based workflows, automation, and AI-assisted analytics to cut manual effort out of repeatable commercial tasks, and you're genuinely energized by evaluating new tools and figuring out how to make them stick for people with very different levels of technical comfort.

This role sits at the intersection of Lean rigor, commercial strategy, and applied AI, working in close partnership with the VP of GTM Operations, market leaders, Strategic Account Managers, the deal desk, and the Enterprise Lean Team. You'll have real latitude to identify where the organization's commercial processes are breaking down, design the "least waste way" to fix them, and build the institutional memory that keeps the organization improving — treating every gap as a system problem to solve, not people problem to handle.

What you get to do
  • Identify commercial process gaps across sales, business development, and deal execution, and design best-in-class workflows grounded in Lean principles and RLOS
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows — LLMs, automation, and AI-assisted analytics — to reduce manual effort in tasks like proposal generation, CRM hygiene, and documentation
  • Serve as the commercial team's go-to expert on practical AI applications, evaluating and recommending new tools as the landscape evolves
  • Own standard work and SOPs across the commercial organization, including governance, version control, and accessibility
  • Lead organizational change for process transformation — collaborator alignment, resistance management, and adoption planning
  • Design and deliver modular, role-specific training that drives lasting adoption, reinforced through ongoing touchpoints
  • Monitor process alignment, diagnose drift, and close gaps through coaching and refresher interventions
  • Maintain a documented evolution log and run a formal continuous improvement cadence — process reviews, retrospectives, and data-driven prioritization — reporting progress to the VP of GTM Operations
What you bring to the Team
  • Proven experience in commercial operations, GTM operations, process excellence, or a closely related function
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience deploying AI tools (LLMs, automation platforms, AI-assisted analytics) in a commercial or operational context
  • Working knowledge of Lean methodologies — value stream mapping, standard work, root cause analysis, PDCA — applied in a commercial or non-manufacturing environment
  • Experience building SOPs and standard work documentation at an organizational scale
  • Strong facilitation and training skills, with comfort delivering to mixed-experience audiences
  • Analytical fluency, with the ability to use data to diagnose process problems and measure improvement outcomes
Preferred
  • Background in a PE-backed industrial, manufacturing, or multi-site commercial environment
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) or an equivalent continuous improvement credential
  • Experience in a commercial operations or revenue operations role within an engineering-intensive B2B company
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, GTM Ops tooling, and CLM systems
  • Experience building AI-enabled training or knowledge management systems
  • Exposure to Aerospace & Defense, Robotics & Intelligent Automation, Life Sciences, Electrification, or Energy & Environmental Solutions markets

The base salary range for this position is $130,000– $205,000 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans.
