Seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). As an early employee, you'll play a meaningful role in defining and building our culture. Get in on the ground floor. We're a small but well-funded team that just raised a substantial round – joining now comes with limited risk and unlimited upside.

Culture is one of the most important things at TENEX.AI—explore our culture deck at culture.tenex.ai to witness how we embody it, prioritizing the irreplaceable collaboration and community of in-person work.

About the Opportunity: TENEX.AI is scaling fast and needs a senior communications leader to build our external voice from the ground up — owning press, analyst positioning, and how the world hears about our product as we launch globally. This is a newly created role reporting to the VP of Marketing, with the mandate to build TENEX's PR and analyst relations function from scratch.

What You'll Do:

  • Own global PR strategy. Drive consistent, high-quality coverage across tier 1 and tier 2 media, including security trade press, business/tech media, and industry publications.

  • Lead analyst relations. Build and manage direct relationships with analysts at Gartner, Forrester, and relevant independent research firms — leading briefings, inquiry responses, and positioning for inclusion in reports such as Magic Quadrants and Waves.

  • Run global product launch comms. Lead end-to-end communications planning for product launches, coordinating messaging, press materials, embargoes, and timing across regions and time zones.

  • Be the primary press contact. Field inbound media inquiries and manage journalist relationships.

  • Proactively pitch stories. Secure media placements that build TENEX's market presence and share of voice.

  • Develop executive thought leadership. Drive bylines, speaking opportunities, and award submissions, and media-train company spokespeople.

  • Align messaging cross-functionally. Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Executive leadership to keep external communications aligned with the product roadmap and business priorities.

  • Lead crisis and issues communications. Protect company reputation when issues arise, managing response and messaging under pressure.

  • Track and report performance. Measure and report PR/AR metrics — share of voice, coverage quality, analyst positioning trends — to leadership.

What You Bring:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or analyst relations, ideally within cybersecurity or enterprise B2B SaaS.

  • Demonstrated success securing tier 1 media coverage.

  • Direct experience managing analyst relationships with Gartner and Forrester.

  • Track record leading communications for global product launches across multiple markets.

  • Experience advising and media-training C-suite spokespeople.

Bonus Points:

  • Cybersecurity or MDR/XDR industry background.

  • Experience in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment.

  • International/global comms experience spanning multiple regions.

  • APR (Accredited in Public Relations) or similar credential.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Relevant certifications such as APR (Accredited in Public Relations) are a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to build and own TENEX's global communications and analyst relations function from day one.

  • Collaborate with a talented and innovative team focused on continuously improving security operations.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • A culture of growth and development, with opportunities to expand your knowledge in AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
