About Plume

Plume is a public, EVM‑compatible blockchain built for Real World Assets (RWAs). We go beyond tokenization — enabling assets to be used like crypto: stake, swap, lend, borrow, loop, and more.

By integrating institutional‑grade assets with DeFi tools, Plume makes private credit, ETFs, commodities, and other traditionally inaccessible assets permissionless, composable, and usable at a click. Our mission: bridge traditional finance and crypto through adoption without sacrificing transparency or user experience.

  • 180+ RWA companies building dapps and tokenizing assets on Plume’s testnet, ranging from collectibles and real estate to equities and private credit
  • 50+ technology partners working with Plume and offering special services to our ecosystem partners
  • Experienced team of 20+ crypto, finance, and tech professionals from:
    • Crypto: Coinbase, dYdX, LayerZero, Binance, Galaxy Digital, Kraken
    • Finance/Tech: JP Morgan, Robinhood, Google, Coupa, Affirm
  • Backed by great investors and operators including:
    • YZi Labs, Brevan Howard, Haun Ventures, Galaxy Digital, Lightspeed, Faction, Superscrypt, SV Angel, and more

Plume is looking for an experienced and driven Capital Markets and Institutional Financial Assets Lead to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead efforts to integrate traditional financial markets with our crypto-native ecosystem, bridge institutional capital to the decentralized world, and develop innovative RWA-focused products that expand our capital markets strategy.

You will work closely with our product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure the seamless onchain integration of real-world financial assets and structures. Your expertise in institutional finance, along with a strong understanding of capital markets, will help us unlock new opportunities for growth, drive adoption of Plume’s infrastructure, and create new pathways for real-world assets to be tokenized and utilized in DeFi.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Define and lead the strategy for integrating institutional financial assets into the Plume ecosystem, building bridges between traditional capital markets and crypto markets.
  • Institutional Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key institutional players, including hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and family offices, to foster collaboration and increase adoption of Plume’s platform.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and execute new market opportunities by leveraging RWAs to create net new opportunities for speculation, yield, and liquidity in the crypto-native context.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Plume at industry conferences and in key discussions, positioning the company as a leading force in the convergence of traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems.
  • Capital Markets Infrastructure: Oversee the development and refinement of capital markets infrastructure on Plume, focusing on asset tokenization, compliance, regulatory frameworks, and liquidity optimization for institutional-grade financial products.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with the product team to develop new RWA products and services such as derivatives, lending platforms, structured finance products, and yield generation strategies tailored for institutional investors.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in capital markets, institutional finance, or asset management, ideally with exposure to both sell and buy sides of traditional finance.
  • Experience in cryptocurrency is not required, but an interest in the subject will help.
  • Deep understanding of financial products, including derivatives, lending, structured finance, and other institutional asset classes.
  • Experience working with institutional investors and managing high-profile relationships.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing capital markets strategies that bridge traditional finance with emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in both traditional and crypto markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for innovation in financial markets and a desire to lead the charge in transforming RWAs through crypto.
