The Role
As a senior leader within our US sales team, this role owns revenue growth and market leadership across a defined industry vertical. You will generate and grow revenue across all commercial solutions social branded content, influencer marketing and sponsorships, while acting as the strategic figurehead for Pubity Group within your sector. Beyond personal billings, you will shape go-to-market strategy, elevate senior agency and client relationships, and help develop the next generation of sellers, ensuring Pubity Group is recognised as a trusted tier-one social publishing partner in your industry.
What will you be doing?
· Own the commercial strategy for your industry vertical, setting the vision for how Pubity Group wins and grows within it.
· Personally drive new business, bringing in a defined number of new clients and campaigns while carrying a senior individual revenue target.
· Be measured on quarterly revenue targets, vertical growth, and broader commercial KPIs.
· Act as the senior point of contact and category expert for your industry, building C-suite and senior agency relationships across strategy, planning and buying.
· Develop and own a strategic account plan for your vertical, identifying and prioritising high-value target clients for long-term growth.
· Sell and help productise the full range of social advertising solutions, feeding market insight back into how we build new offerings.
· Partner with the VP, Commercial on forecasting, pipeline health and vertical performance, and deputise on commercial matters where required.
· Provide informal leadership and mentorship to the wider Brand Partnerships team, sharing category expertise and best practice to raise the bar across the group.
· Work alongside internal teams; Client Services, Strategy, Creative, Social Activation and Production to craft and deliver market-leading pitches that win new and repeat business.
· Fully manage the sales process and client/agency relationship from brief to sign-off, modelling excellence for more junior sellers.
· Respond to briefs effectively and in a timely way, ensuring all criteria are delivered on.
· Continually champion new and innovative ideas, and represent Pubity Group as a thought leader at industry events and in the market.
· Travelling frequently to your key clients and agencies

What do you need to have done before?

· 12+ years' experience repping media agencies and brands, including a track record of owning or leading a category or vertical.
· A deep, senior-level contact book across Travel, Autos, Insurance ,Finance as primary and Gaming, QSR, Fashion and CPG sectors as secondary, with established relationships at decision-maker level.
· A proven record of consistently exceeding significant individual revenue targets and closing complex, high-value deals.
· Be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced scale-up. Pubity Group is early in its commercial journey, with already huge social pages, a brilliant opportunity against stern competition.
· Strong understanding of and genuine interest in the world of social channels e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Facebook.
· Demonstrable expertise in understanding a brief and developing the right integrated proposal as a response, and in coaching others to do the same.
· Excellent negotiation skills and the gravitas to lead senior client and agency conversations.
· Passionate about great work and delivering strong business outcomes for clients, as well as hitting targets.
· An aptitude to learn in a fast-paced environment and the hunger to always improve.
