Re‑architecting U.S. healthcare demands speed, precision, and an obsession with details. Cadence is building a remote care delivery system that keeps older people healthy, out of the hospital, and at home. By pairing each patient with a dedicated clinical team that reviews their health every day, versus every few months, we catch issues early and intervene before they escalate. The result: measurably better outcomes for patients and less administrative burden for clinicians.

Today, Cadence supports tens of thousands of  active patients nationwide. Our AI‑powered system and scalable clinical model enable proactive, population‑level care. We’re among the fastest‑growing companies in healthtech, and we’re just getting started.

Cadence is hiring a Head of IT to make sure every Cadence employee can do their best work securely, reliably, and with great tools at their fingertips. You’ll own the full corporate IT stack including SaaS systems and operational hardware, and partner with security & compliance to protect our patients’ data.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will set the long-term vision for IT service excellence. You’ll partner closely with clinical, product, and business leaders to balance usability with control, cost with resilience, and speed with safety. Your work will keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, support our rapid head-count and geographic growth, and help safeguard the platform that delivers life-changing care to patients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Set the IT vision and roadmap covering endpoint lifecycle, collaboration suites (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom), SaaS onboarding/off-boarding, and IT service management.
  • Run a world-class help desk defining SLAs, track KPIs, and ensure employees get fast, friendly support.
  • Lead endpoint and asset management with modern MDM tools; automate provisioning and patching to minimize toil.
  • Manage vendors and licensing by negotiating contracts, optimizing spend, and maintaining accurate software asset inventories.
  • Establish IT policies & processes for procurement, change management, and business-continuity / disaster-recovery (BC/DR).
  • Educate the organization by delivering engaging trainings and easy-to-follow guidance for clinicians and business staff.
  • Collaborate with executives and department heads to understand their workflows and deliver pragmatic, scalable technology solutions using AI.
  • Partner with the security organization to secure the data of Cadence patients and partners.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 10+ years in corporate IT & infrastructure
  • Proven success running IT operations in healthtech or highly regulated industries is a plus
  • Managed teams with a minimum of 10 individuals
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • MDM/endpoint platforms ITSM tools
    • SaaS administration and business logic configuration (Salesforce, marketing clouds, etc)
  • Familiar with ITIL practices and capable of building lightweight, right-sized processes for a scaling startup
  • Excellent communicator who can translate tech jargon into plain-English guidance for clinicians, executives, and board members
  • Thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments; comfortable switching between strategic planning and hands-on troubleshooting

WHO WE ARE:

We move fast, raise standards, and own outcomes. We hire drivers, not passengers – people who take initiative, solve problems, and sweat the details because lives depend on it. Momentum matters in healthcare where slow decisions cost lives. At Cadence, we set a high bar and back each other relentlessly to clear it. If you’re ready to do the best work of your career and make a real impact in healthcare, join us.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

  • Autonomy to tackle big, complex problems that matter
  • An opportunity to improve lives every single day
  • A chance to shape a category‑defining company at scale
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Competitive total compensation and meaningful equity
  • TelaDoc (virtual primary care)
  • National and local discounts powered by TriNet
  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Remote equipment setup and home office stipend
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • 401K and 401K match
  • Charitable Donation Match program
  • Location: Remote
