Why Join Sensi.AI

Sensi is redefining how care organizations support aging at home by using it’s Care Intelligence platform to translate everyday signals into meaningful clinical and operational outcomes.

Sensi’s platform is deployed across 50 states in leading home-care providers, supporting tens of thousands of seniors aging safely at home. By transforming real-world activity in the home into actionable insights, Sensi enables care teams to detect changes in condition earlier, intervene proactively, and deliver higher-quality care at scale.

We are looking for a Head of Legal to build and lead Sensi’s legal function during a critical phase of global growth. As our first internal legal hire, you will occupy a high-impact, strategic seat at the table. Reporting to the VP of Finance and partnering closely with the Executive Team, you will serve as a key advisor while owning the end-to-end legal lifecycle.

This is a strategic individual contributor role designed for a builder. You will be the sole architect of our legal infrastructure—transitioning us from external reliance to internal excellence. This is a hands-on position for a high-level practitioner who thrives in fast-moving environments and is eager to lay the foundation for everything from commercial velocity to our future scaling efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Infrastructure for Scale: Improve the company’s foundational legal processes, templates, internal policies, and governance frameworks that empower teams to move fast while effectively managing risk.
  • Commercial & GTM Enablement: Lead the drafting and negotiation of all commercial agreements (SaaS, Vendors, BAAs, DPAs, etc.), partnering closely with Sales and CS teams to build scalable playbooks and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Own Sensi’s global privacy posture and HIPAA compliance strategy, moving beyond basic checklists to build robust Privacy-by-Design frameworks that scale with our growth
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Product and Engineering teams, ensuring our AI-driven solutions are compliant, ethical, and defensible from the initial ideation phase through to deployment..
  • Company Growth & Strategic Matters: Support fundraising and reporting, manage cross-border legal matters across the U.S., Israel, and Canada, oversee external counsel, and help protect Sensi’s intellectual property and AI innovations.
  • JD or equivalent legal degree
  • Licensed to practice law in the United States
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Proven in-house experience in a high-growth VC-backed startup environment
  • Strong commercial instincts and ability to balance risk with business velocity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing cross-border legal matters
  • Ability to operate independently and build processes from scratch

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with privacy and healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA)
  • Familiarity with the Israeli legal framework
  • Experience supporting venture financing and investor due diligence
  • Background in Economics, Finance, or an MBA

Sensi celebrates diversity and upholds equal opportunity in our hiring practices. Our approach fosters an inclusive environment that sparks innovation and reflects the vibrant communities we serve. All persons shall have the opportunity to be considered for employment without regard to any characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
