Summary
We are looking for a smart, driven and versatile Head of Marketing who primarily focuses on continuing to accelerate growth of the business through paid acquisitions. This role will collaborate directly with the CEO,. finance, and head of departments to drive growth.
What you'll help us with:
- Paid Ad (SEM) Expertise: Design and execute a high-impact paid acquisition strategy to continue to scale up spend across platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, prioritizing UGC ads to drive engagement and conversions.
- UGC Ad Expertise: Develop and optimize UGC ad campaigns, sourcing authentic content from creators to reduce CAC and boost click-through rates.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Appsflyer to track paid and organic performance, identifying high-value segments and reducing churn through data-driven insights.
- Team Leadership: Mentor marketing team members and collaborate with product and finance teams to align campaigns with retention and monetization goals.
- Experimentation: Test innovative ad formats, content types (e.g., case studies, tutorials), and SEO tactics to stay ahead of industry trends.
What will make you successful:
- Experience:10+ years in marketing functions with 5+ years leading performance marketing for consumer apps and/or eCommerce or D2C brands. Proven success in paid ad and UGC ad campaigns (e.g., TikTok, Instagram). Proven success in paid ad and UGC ad campaigns (e.g., TikTok, Instagram).
- Startup Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in a tech startup environment.
- Managed a budget of $2m+ in paid search budget or $250k in paid social budget.
- Track Record: Successfully scaled paid marketing while achieving ROI efficiency. Experience scaling organic traffic through content and SEO is a plus.
- Leadership: Experience leading startup marketing teams, with strong communication skills to align with CEO and finance stakeholders.
