About Galvanick

Galvanick protects the industrial world against cyber attacks. Our threat detection platform defends the modern world against criminals and nation-states that target Operational Technology (OT) systems and networks. This is a chance to work in a startup environment with driven individuals committed to solving cybersecurity's big problems. We are backed by Founders Fund, Village Global, MaC Venture Capital, and others.

About The Role

We are looking for our first Head of Marketing. You will build the marketing function from the ground up and own everything from brand strategy and market awareness to lead generation and sales enablement.

Galvanick has a strong brand foundation, a differentiated product, and early traction with Fortune 100 customers and the U.S. Government. The OT security buyer community is small enough to reach and underserved enough to win. Your job is to make Galvanick the company that surfaces first when a COO asks their CISO, "who should we look at for OT security?" You will do this with a small team and an aggressive orientation toward AI-powered automation.

You will work directly with our CEO and Sales Team, and partner closely with our CTO and engineering leadership to translate deep technical expertise into narratives that resonate with enterprise security and operations leaders. Our technical team built Galvanick because existing solutions failed them firsthand. Your job is to turn that conviction and credibility into market awareness and sales leads.

What You Will Do

  • Build brand awareness and market presence. Make Galvanick impossible to ignore within the OT security buyer community through thought leadership, event strategy, media, and analyst relationships.
  • Build our lead generation engine. Design automated, multi-channel processes that identify and engage target accounts. Implement lead scoring that ensures our sales team focuses only on high-intent opportunities.
  • Create intelligent nurture systems. Develop campaigns for Operations Leaders, Security Executives, and Technical Evaluators that adapt based on engagement patterns, with distinct messaging for each persona.
  • Generate technical content at scale. Extract knowledge from our CTO and engineering team, then build systems to repurpose it across solution briefs, web content, blogs, social, video, and research.
  • Partner with Sales. Create sales enablement materials and account intelligence that help close enterprise deals in the private sector and across the U.S. Government.
  • Build a peer and customer advocacy engine. Buyers trust practitioners over marketing. Build systematic programs for customer references, peer review sites, and practitioner case studies that turn early wins into a credibility flywheel.
  • Own AI-era discoverability. Structure our content and digital presence so Galvanick surfaces accurately when buyers use AI tools to research and compare OT security vendors.
  • Deploy AI as infrastructure, not just tools. Architect intelligent systems that compound our capabilities, where one input produces many outputs.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role. You have a proven track record building marketing from scratch at Series A/B companies.
  • Experience marketing complex technical products to enterprise buyers. You have generated pipeline for products with $100K+ ACVs and you understand long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • A brand builder, not just a demand gen operator. You have built market awareness for a company that started with low name recognition and turned it into a category presence. You understand that brand and pipeline reinforce each other.
  • Demonstrated success operating as a small team with limited resources. You know how to build systems that scale without agencies or large teams, delivering outsized results through AI, automation, and smart prioritization.
  • Technically fluent enough to understand and communicate our value proposition. You do not need to be an OT security engineer. You do need to sit with our CTO, absorb a whiteboard session on detection philosophy, and turn it into a compelling solution brief.
  • Data-driven with strong systems thinking. You make decisions based on metrics, build repeatable processes, and constantly optimize for efficiency and impact.
  • AI-native in your marketing practice. You use AI tools across the full marketing workflow: content production, competitive intelligence, campaign personalization, and reporting. You think of AI as infrastructure that lets one person operate like a team.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration. You thrive in environments where strategies evolve quickly and you build systems while simultaneously running them.

Bonus Points

  • Experience marketing to both government and commercial sectors, understanding the different buying processes and messaging requirements.
  • Background in cybersecurity, deep tech, or industrial/infrastructure technology markets.
  • You have worked at a startup that scaled from Series A to Series C or a successful exit.
  • Experience with account-based marketing to Fortune 500 enterprises.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like CMMC and the ability to speak to regulatory requirements.

Benefits

We provide top-of-the-line medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, along with additional benefits designed to optimize every team member's health and wellness. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Galvanick is an early-stage startup and base salary is only one component of our compensation package. Depending on the position offered, equity may form a significant part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.

Location

This role will be based in the United States and travel to various marketing and company events will be required. Remote US based candidates will be considered.

ITAR Requirements

To conform to US Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the US Department of State. Learn more about the ITAR here.
