What you will do

The Head of Media & Digital Commerce Strategy is responsible for designing and governing Kenvue Canada’s enterprise digital commerce and media growth system. 

In this role you will establish the operating architecture that enables Brand and Customer Development teams to accelerate growth in digital commerce — spanning enterprise strategy, agency governance, retail media frameworks, platform partnerships, digital shelf standards, and performance measurement. 

The role builds the system that drives performance, embedding digital commerce into planning, investment decisions, and operating rhythm across the organization while partnering closely with Sales teams who lead customer revenue delivery and joint business planning.

Kenvue Canada's corporate office is currently located in Markham, ON but is scheduled to move to North York (Yonge and Sheppard area) in or around Q3 2026. 

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Digital Commerce & Media Architecture 

  • Own Canadas end-to-end digital commerce operating model and growth framework 

  • Define full-funnel media architecture across brand, performance, retail media, and search 

  • Establish prioritization frameworks across brands, customers, and priority SKUs 

  • Translate brand and commercial priorities into scalable enterprise digital commerce strategies 

  • Define operating rhythm, resource model, and decision-right clarity across teams 

 

Enterprise Media & Platform Partnerships 

  • Lead enterprise partnerships with Amazon Ads, Google, Meta, and retail media networks 

  • Define annual investment frameworks, guardrails, and partnership principles 

  • Establish innovation roadmap and test-and-learn agenda 

  • Govern retail media architecture and standards in alignment with customer strategies 

  • Elevate platform partnerships in collaboration with agency partners and Customer Development 

 

Agency Governance & Integrated Operating Model 

  • Own media agency relationship, scope, capability expectations, and performance reviews 

  • Define integrated briefing and planning architecture across Brand, Sales, and Agency 

  • Establish governance routines and performance standards 

  • Ensure agency focus on activation excellence, retail media performance, and optimization 

  • Orchestrate planning cadence across agency and internal teams 

 

Performance Measurement & Investment Discipline 

  • Define digital commerce KPI architecture across media, digital shelf, and performance 

  • Partner with Analytics to lead Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) orchestration and integrate outputs into planning and investment decisions 

  • Establish enterprise reporting and diagnostic routines 

  • Translate performance insights into investment reallocation guidance 

  • Build a single source of truth for digital commerce performance 

 

Digital Shelf Governance & Standards 

  • Define enterprise digital shelf standards including content, SEO, ratings & reviews, and availability 

  • Own digital shelf scorecard and reporting architecture 

  • Partner with Sales to prioritize high-impact SKUs and growth opportunities 

  • Orchestrate integration across digital shelf teams, agency partners, and MarTech/IT 

  • Drive connected SEO and content performance standards across platforms 

 

Enterprise Capability & Governance Enablement 

  • Develop enterprise digital commerce playbooks across media, retail media, digital shelf, and measurement 

  • Embed governance into annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and performance routines 

  • Enable Brand and Sales teams through tools, training, and RACI clarity 

  • Build long-term digital commerce maturity roadmap and ways-of-working evolution 

  • Strengthen enterprise investment discipline and performance culture 

 

What We Are Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred 

  • 10+ years of equivalent experience in digital commerce, media strategy, retail media, or omnichannel leadership 

  • Proven experience building scalable operating models and governance frameworks 

  • Deep expertise in retail media, search, and full-funnel media architecture 

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive influence capability 

  • Experience in CPG, retail, consumer health, or omnichannel environments 

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience designing modern agency operating models 

  • Strong analytics and MMM fluency 

  • Experience integrating media, digital shelf, and commerce strategy into commercial planning 

  • Ability to translate complex performance data into investment decisions 

  • Experience managing enterprise platform partnerships
