Circle is building the world’s leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.
We’re proud to be a fully remote company of around 200 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot.
Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we’ve hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come!

We’re looking for a Media Lead who can think like a director, act like a creator, and measure like a growth marketer. This is not a traditional “social media manager” role – we are looking for a social-native who can develop and grow engaging new media properties for Circle. You will be the central hub bringing together our design studio, video team, brand and content marketing, copywriters and partnerships to build exciting new social-first media properties for Circle to tell our story and educate prospects and users across a wide variety of platforms and channels. This is one of the most important roles we’re hiring for in 2026.
YouTube longform is our first anchor platform/format, and you will be cutting, stitching and repurposing content across X, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn as well as creating original content for those platforms.
What you'll be doing- Develop recurring online content franchises/media properties (e.g., weekly series, formats, shows) that audiences recognize and return to
- Build and lead a small but scrappy and resourceful media team: a collection of editors, videographers, storytellers, and on-screen talent
- Build Circle’s online presence and audience across YouTube, Instagram, Tikok, and LinkedIn (including managing channel‑specific editorial calendars + growth targets)
- Be the voice of the brand on social: write thumb‑stopping captions, respond to comments/DMs, and turn community moments into content (huge bonus if you’re great on camera)
- Lead social brainstorms and creative sprints; turn loose ideas into tight concepts and production‑ready briefs
- In close partnership with our Brand Partnership team, collaborate with customers, creators and influencers to co‑create content that feels authentic
- Report on the impact of our online media properties as well as surface insights to continually improve and iterate (including experience with social listening tools and basic social reporting dashboards)
- Strong alignment with our values, find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet.
- You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
- Experience as a hands‑on creator: you’re comfortable ideating, scripting, shooting, and posting content yourself and you’ve done it before
- A track record growing social channels and online media properties from 1 to X, and occasionally from zero to one
- Portfolio or social handles that show you’ve actually made things that grew an audience or went big—for brands/creators or for yourself
- Strong storyteller with a sharp sense of what’s genuinely entertaining, useful, or shareable.
- Confident pitching ideas to founders, defending your thinking, and working cross functionally
- Bias toward action — you can create a killer strategy deck, but you’re quick to ship experiments to validate your ideas and hypotheses
- Obsessed with experimentation: A/B testing hooks, formats, and thumbnails is just how you operate
- You know what works on LinkedIn vs. Reels vs. YouTube and can tailor content for each platform
- Stay plugged into cultural and platform trends and help Circle show up in a way that feels natural and on‑brand, while also being culturally relevant
- Comfortable being behind the camera and occasionally in front of it when it serves the idea
- Strong fluency in the cultural zeitgeist, creator economy and broader cultural trends
- Passionate about the creator economy and well-versed in this world
- Prior experience working in SaaS or the creator industry
