As the Head of Operations for Coins.xyz Nigeria Markets Limited, you will direct and refine all operational procedures. Your role involves leading and managing all local operational activities for COINS XYZ DIGITAL MKTS NIG LTD, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory guidelines, operational efficiency, and scalability to fulfill user requirements in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end operations across KYC, onboarding, payments, reconciliations, and transaction processing
- Develop and manage operational SOPs, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
- Coordinate closely with the compliance officer to ensure adherence to SEC regulations
- Liaise with global product and engineering teams to localize workflows
- Build and manage relationships with local banks, vendors, and payment partners
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing local operations and customer service teamMonitor operational risk, inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvements
Requirements
- Masterʼs degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry
- 5+ years in fintech or financial services operations, preferably in a regulated environment
- Deep understanding of Nigerian payments infrastructure, KYC/AML processes, and crypto industry
- Proven track record of scaling fintech or tech-enabled operations
- Proven operations management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google suite etcExperience with international teams is a plus.
