About Deeter Analytics

Deeter Analytics is a privately held investment research and trading firm managing approximately ~$500M across public markets, alternatives, and private investments.

We operate with a small, senior, high-performance team within a deeply entrepreneurial culture. We value autonomy, judgment, clarity, and technical rigor. We hire very few people, expect a great deal from them, and invest heavily in long-term performance and trust.

This environment suits sharp, self-directed thinkers who can hold ambiguity, exercise independent judgment, and translate complex inputs into clear action.

Role Overview

The Mandate:

The Principal operates in fast-moving, highly competitive global markets where asymmetric information and early insight define success. We require a research leader who functions as a force multiplier—someone who transforms complexity into clarity and conviction into profitable action.

You are the engine that converts raw information into durable advantage.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and relentless operator who sees what others miss and moves before consensus forms.

The Requirement: Intellectual and Strategic Mastery

You are capable of navigating any information environment—public markets, private capital, geopolitics, technology, macro, and industry-specific ecosystems—and extracting actionable truth in real time.

  • Signal Extraction: You distinguish material insight from background noise. You build systems and teams that surface what matters and discard what doesn’t.

  • Trend Origination: You identify emerging structural shifts before they are obvious and design frameworks for early positioning.

  • Narrative Intelligence: You continuously map prevailing and emerging market narratives across sectors and asset classes, understanding what ideas are gaining traction, where, and why—without defaulting to consensus.

  • Analytical Rigor: You do not accept surface narratives. You deconstruct incentives, second-order effects, and hidden dependencies.

  • Synthesis: You integrate disparate data points into coherent, tradeable worldviews.

  • Communication Precision: You translate complex analysis into clear, decisive guidance for traders and investment teams.

Core Attributes

  • Raw Agency and Intelligence : You are proactive, reason independently, challenge assumptions, and build original theses from first principles.

  • Judgment Under Uncertainty: You make high-quality decisions with incomplete information.

  • Ownership Mentality: You treat outcomes as personal responsibilities, not abstractions. You take action on your own without being told what to do.

  • Integrity of Thought: You resist groupthink and protect intellectual honesty.

The Scope

Your immediate priority is to build and lead a world-class research operation that consistently generates early, differentiated insight.

You will:

  • Architect and oversee a high-performance team of analysts and news monitors.

  • Design information pipelines that deliver real-time, high-signal intelligence.

  • Identify and validate emerging opportunities across public and private markets.

  • Partner closely with the Principal to develop a forward-looking worldview.

  • Translate macro, sectoral, and thematic views into actionable investment strategies.

  • Continuously refine frameworks for opportunity identification and risk assessment.

You will function as the Principal’s closest intellectual partner in shaping how the firm understands and engages with the world.

The Incentive

We believe in alignment.

Your compensation will reflect the quality, durability, and impact of your insights. Exceptional performance and sustained edge will be rewarded through meaningful participation in the upside.

To Apply

Send a brief note describing a time you identified a critical opportunity or risk before others did—and how you turned that insight into tangible results.
