About CoinPoker

Welcome to CoinPoker, the innovative crypto-poker platform where advanced blockchain technology meets the thrilling world of online poker. At CoinPoker, we are revolutionizing the poker experience by offering fast, secure, and transparent gameplay. With recent substantial investment, we are poised to take over the online crypto-poker space and are expanding our team to support our growth.

The Opportunity

The Head of Social is responsible for CoinPoker's social media strategy, growth, and performance across all platforms, including X, Instagram, Telegram, and Discord, owning audience growth as the function's primary objective and the commercial contribution of social as a function.

The role sets the growth strategy each channel operates against, owns the social content calendar and publishing operation, and builds and manages the social team, directing specialist roles to consistent standards across publishing, community, and performance reporting.

The role requires a strong understanding of poker, and a deep working knowledge of how each platform's algorithm, distribution mechanics, and content formats drive reach and follower growth, as channel strategy, content judgment, and community credibility depend on reading the game, the platforms, and the audiences CoinPoker speaks to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own CoinPoker's social growth strategy across all platforms, defining the audience, content mix, and growth targets for each channel, and owning delivery against those targets.

  • Work closely with the content team on what each channel needs to grow, requesting video formats and content based on platform performance, coordinating calendars, and running a regular review of what is working and what to make more of.

  • Own the social content calendar and publishing operation.

  • Own distribution performance, ensuring content is packaged, timed, and formatted for each platform's algorithm and distribution mechanics.

  • Oversee the running of country-specific accounts, ensuring localised content, community management, and publishing standards are consistent with global strategy while adapted to each market's audience and platform behaviour.

  • Build, manage, and develop the social team.

  • Own CoinPoker's community presence and voice across Telegram, Discord, and X.

  • Own social's performance reporting, establishing the growth and engagement metrics framework for each channel and reporting to senior management on follower growth, reach, and social's contribution to commercial objectives.

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven track record of growing social audiences for a brand across multiple platforms, with the follower and reach numbers to show for it and the ability to explain the strategic decisions behind them.

  • Deep working knowledge of how platform algorithms and distribution mechanics drive reach and follower growth across X, Instagram, and community platforms, with demonstrated experience adapting channel strategy as those mechanics change.

  • Strong understanding of poker, with the credibility to direct content and community voice for a poker audience.

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing a social team, including hiring, developing, and directing specialist roles to consistent standards.

  • Strong command of social performance measurement, including establishing metrics frameworks, running review cadences, and reporting social's contribution to commercial objectives.

  • Experience managing brand community presence in real time, including sensitive situations, community incidents, and high-visibility moments.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the blockchain and online gaming industry.

  • Flexible working hours and the ability to work fully remotely.

  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture.

  • Professional development opportunities and career growth within a rapidly evolving company.
