As a Helion Sales Support Specialist you'll be managing and promoting the Helion Surgical Integration platform within an assigned geography while focusing on building relationships with surgical professionals such as surgeons, nurses, and operating room staff.

To be a successful Sales Support Specialist, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of OR procedural workflow, medical A/V technology, and IT systems performance. You will be able to formulate and implement system go-live strategies, engage with the install base and existing customers, effectively resolve system and user challenges, and establish an understanding of the portfolio’s competitive differentiation to drive overall customer satisfaction. What you'll be doing:

  • Providing technical support, training and in depth product education to OR Educators and Nurse Managers to ensure they have a deep understanding of Helion’s solutions and benefits.

  • Troubleshooting common A/V related issues and effectively communicating to internal technical support to resolve in a timely manner.

  • Supporting case set ups by understanding clinical needs for various procedures that utilize surgical integration and have an awareness of system requirements for devices that integrate with Helion.

  • Engaging install base and following up with existing customers for incremental continued education, uncover underlying user or system issues, and overall support to improve their experience.

  • Formulating and implementing selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity directly to customers by phone and on site.

  • Completing extensive prospecting, lead generation, and lead follow-up for sales teams; assist with set up of product demonstrations for customers as requested.

  • Supporting site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms, as necessary.

What you'll bring:

  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Previous sales or operating room experience preferred

  • Strong skills within the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word); Salesforce knowledge a plus.

  • Ability to travel independently up to 80%. Position will have an assigned geographic territory which may span several states. National travel as needed.

  • Technical audio-visual experience a plus.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated pay range for this position is $72,000 - $99,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
