  • Curious and forward-looking, always tracking the latest HPC hardware and software advancements.

What We Need

  • 15+ years of experience in HPC architecture design and optimization.
  • Strong C++ skills, including experience coding performance models.
  • Deep knowledge of processors, accelerators, interconnects, and memory subsystems.
  • Hands-on experience with workload analysis, parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, OpenCL), and performance profiling.
Familiarity with interconnect technologies (InfiniBand, Ethernet, Omni-Path) and memory hierarchy designs (NUMA, cache coherence protocols).

What You Will Learn

  • Cutting-edge simulation environments like GEM5 and SST for architecture exploration.
  • Advanced workload behavior analysis tools for large-scale HPC systems.
  • Trade-offs in selecting processors, accelerators, and interconnects for real-world HPC workloads.
  • Techniques to align architecture with scientific and data-intensive application requirements.
  • Industry trends and emerging HPC technologies shaping the future of large-scale computing.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
