Responsibilities- Conduct rigorous calibration, chip-level testing and validation, ensuring hardware meets the highest standards.
- Carry out and develop test methods for our next generation high-speed photonics chip up to 200GHz.
- Closely involve in design and develop high-speed devices, pushing the boundaries of communication systems.
- Experience with optoelectronic devices is preferred.
- Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and optimize performance.
- Develop test procedures, ensuring clear communication within the team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in high-speed digital hardware.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers or technicians, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the hardware development lifecycle.
- Master's degree with 5 years of experience or Doctor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field, focusing on high-speed components and testing.
- Proven expertise in using VNA/PNA equipment for device-level testing is expected.
- Strong knowledge of digital signal processing and communication systems.
- Experience with high-speed device testing, preferably above 67GHz.
- Familiarity with photonic technologies is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to hardware design and testing.
- Proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB and/or Python.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
