Your Responsibilities 

  • Financial Oversight: department budgets, gross profits, monthly financial statements, financial targets
  • Wholesale and Auctions: buying and selling inventory,
  • Inventory Management: sourcing vehicles, appraising trade ins, reconditioning time and costs, audit controls
  • Pricing and Valuations: setting competitive retail pricing based on market trends, auction and vehicle condition
  • Sales Leadership: training, motivating, desking, establishing clear perfomance quotas
  • Compliance and Operations: all paperwork complies with local, state and federal regulations
  • Ensure compliance with Volkswagen of America required standards 

Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven experience in high volume dealership management
  • Extensive knowledge managing preowned inventory
  • Strong acquisition skills in acquiring inventory through the auction, the service lane and aggressively prospecting for trades 
  • Energetic and enthusiastic presence throughout the sales workday
  • Goal-oriented and friendly demeanor, especially in negotiations
  • Detail oriented with sharp problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service, communication, computer and basic math capabilities
  • Clean driving record with a valid Texas driver’s license
  • Foundation knowledge of accounting principles
