The Opportunity
We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and people-first HR Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This fully remote role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats - supporting recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations across a portfolio of behavioral health clients.
You'll work closely with our HR team to keep our people operations running smoothly, serve as a point of contact for candidates and new hires, and help maintain accurate records and documentation across multiple platforms. What You'll Do
- HR operations and record keeping
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate employee records in HRIS platforms
- Maintain and organize digital personnel files in compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations
- Support benefits enrollment processes and respond to basic employee inquiries, escalating as needed
- Assist in preparing and tracking HR documentation, including offer letters, employment verifications, and policy acknowledgments
Onboarding and compliance
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires across multiple client organizations
- Follow up with hiring managers to ensure onboarding tasks are completed on time
- Support I-9 and E-Verify completion in accordance with federal requirements
- Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and in compliance with HIPAA standards
Recruiting support
- Assist with recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Conduct pre-screen interviews and document candidate feedback in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Help prepare job postings and maintain candidate pipelines across active requisitions
General HR support
- Assist the HR team with audits, tracker maintenance, and ad hoc reporting
- Pitch in on special projects and process improvement initiatives as they arise
- Help ensure HR workflows stay organized and nothing falls through the cracks
- Update projects using ZohoProjects
Requirements
What You Bring
Required
- Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred (HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field)
- 2 or more years of experience in an HR, administrative, or recruiting support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Comfort handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace
Preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR, or OnPay
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Zoho Recruit or similar)
- Knowledge of I-9, E-Verify, and multi-state HR compliance requirements
- Experience supporting onboarding workflows across multiple locations or organizations
- Prior exposure to behavioral health, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $42,000 -$52,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications
