  • Maintain or partner on SOPs, playbooks, workflow diagrams, decision trees, intake forms, job aids, and checklists.
  • Identify friction, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies; perform root-cause analysis for system, data, user behavior, process, or policy issues.
  • Recommend improvements to reduce rework, clarify processes, and ensure intuitive, repeatable workflows.

Project & Program Management

  • Lead cross-functional PX initiatives from intake to execution, ensuring clear scope, ownership, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate working sessions, design reviews, and decision forums; escalate risks and blockers promptly.
  • Maintain project plans, coordinate resources, and ensure documentation is complete, version-controlled, and accessible.
  • Manage readiness validation and handoffs to support ongoing execution across PX, HRIS, Integrations, and other partners.

Discovery & Requirements Translation

  • Serve as operational liaison for PX, HR Systems & Data, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and other partners.
  • Facilitate intake sessions to clarify problems, desired outcomes, scope, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Translate requests into structured, testable requirements, including current and future states, business rules, edge cases, and downstream impacts.

Cross-Functional Handoffs & Operational Enablement

  • Execute clean handoffs when work falls outside PX ownership, providing clear problem statements, context, stakeholders, dependencies, and required inputs.
  • Lead requirements gathering for PX, People Ops, and integration initiatives; coordinate UAT, system validation, and defect tracking.
  • Support Workday pre-release impact analysis and update SOPs or workflows based on system changes.
  • Assist HR M&A integrations with workflow mapping, data validation, and checklist execution, surfacing risks and lessons learned.

AI Enablement & Adoption

  • Identify and pilot AI-enabled solutions (including Workday AI and intelligent automation) to streamline PX workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve employee and manager self-service.
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and cross-functional teams to translate PX use cases into responsible AI requirements, ensuring strong governance, data integrity, risk mitigation, and measurable impact.
  • Drive AI adoption by defining use cases, assessing process impacts, and enabling teams with clear guidance, change support, and success metrics to scale sustainable AI practices.

Skills and Competencies:

  • 3–6+ years in People Operations, HR Operations, People Experience, HR Business Analysis, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Workday-enabled processes (HCM experience required).
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to evaluate processes from a business analyst perspective, including defining and documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement, and developing actionable plans to enhance effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Capability to think strategically and critically evaluate situations to make informed decisions.
  • Experience developing UAT scenarios, test scripts, and validating system changes.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous requests into structured, actionable requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Comfort operating across functions with clear boundaries and disciplined handoffs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in people operations, employee experience, change management, or journey mapping.
  • Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Experience supporting HR operational change.
  • HR service delivery, ticketing platform, or SLA management experience.

Salary range: $90,000-$95,000 plus bonus
