The Job At-A-Glance:

Q2 is seeking an HR Coordinator - Culture and Engagement, who will embody and help promote the Q2 culture both internally and externally.  Reporting directly to the Vice President, Engagement & Talent Attraction, this person’s main function will be to support culture tactical operations to ensure Q2’s culture remains aligned to the company’s mission and founding principles, which include a strong foundation in giving back to the communities and the financial institutions we serve.   

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented coordinator to provide administrative support across a range of programs including culture, community and other employee engagement initiatives. This position is key to maintaining efficient HR operations, coordinating internal programs, detailed budget management, and ensuring consistent communication of activities across the organization.  

To be successful, this will require building relationships internally with employees, as well as with community organizations in all our locations worldwide. Additionally, they will need to collaborate with our internal and external resources to support and execute culture and community programs & events (virtual and in-person).  We collectively strive to support a culture strategy that emphasizes inclusion of all team members and represents the richness of global experiences. This role is fast-paced and demands someone who thinks in a solution-oriented approach and pays close attention to details.  

A Typical Day:

  • Deliver exceptional service to Q2 employees through flawless event execution aligned to overall engagement goals 

  • Partner with various teams across Q2 to achieve desired outcomes including participation, employee satisfaction, year over year growth, etc.  (Marketing, Business Operations, and others where appropriate)  

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of internal/external events, appreciation initiatives, and sponsorship requests 

  • Support internal communications efforts, including newsletters, announcements, and updates related to HR and company culture to help create well informed participants, sponsors and high levels of engagement. 

  • Manage planning and logistics with event (virtual and onsite in our offices) preparations, schedules, communications, vendor management, technologies, budgets and ad hoc project needs 

  • Own administrative support for engagement technology tools and vendors    

  • Provide calendar management and scheduling support for Engagement team when needed 

  • Monitor supply levels and coordinate ordering for branded materials, event supplies, etc. 

  • Track and manage event and program budgets in Excel, including using formulas and functions for tracking and summarizing expenses. 

  • Support multiple team members with various administrative tasks, often juggling requests from different stakeholders. 

  • Ensure timely communication, follow-up, and documentation of all assigned tasks. 

  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or related fields and up to 2 years of related experience
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities 
  • Experience supporting and implementing international culture and community strategies, including planning for and delivering activities & approaches to reinforce Q2’s culture and mission   
  • Experience planning logistics and coordinating across internal teams and vendors to support virtual and in-person events  
  • Evidence of exceptional relationship-building and communication skills 
  • High degree of self-motivation and drive; comfort working autonomously as well as working in teams 
  • Ability to establish relationships within a matrix organization and at all levels  
  • Attention to detail, exceptional project management, time management, event management, and vendor management skills  
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills needed  
  • Ability to travel (up to 30%)  
  • Flexibility in work schedule is required (to include some evenings and weekends a few times per month as needed)  
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel including experience with formulas, formatting, and charts. 
  • Comfort working with digital platforms and systems (e.g., calendar tools, tracking software, intranet portals). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of time zone differences and experience scheduling meetings or events across various regions. 
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work both independently and collaboratively. 

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
