AltScore is seeking a dynamic and systems-oriented HR Manager to build and lead our end-to-end people function. In this role, you won't just manage HR; you will design the organizational engine that powers AltScore’s growth. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle: from the first touchpoint in recruitment to high-level performance systems, ensuring we scale in headcount while maintaining a lean, high-performance culture that drives 5x ARR growth.
We are looking for someone who sees People as a set of scalable processes and who thrives on creating efficiency, clarity, and high talent density. The right candidate will bring a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution to develop efficient systems that fuel growth, especially in revenue-driving roles across sales, product, and customer success.
Responsibilities- End-to-End People Operations: Design and manage all people-related processes, including payroll oversight, benefits administration, and compliance across different jurisdictions, ensuring a seamless experience for a fully remote team.
- Scalable Talent Acquisition: Lead the full recruitment cycle with a focus on revenue-driving roles (Sales, Product, Customer Success). You will build the sourcing machine that identifies top-tier talent while keeping the hiring bar exceptionally high.
- Performance & OKRs: Own the performance management system. Ensure OKRs are not just a document, but a living system that aligns individual output with our 5x growth targets.
- Culture & Engagement: Act as the guardian of the AltCode. Develop initiatives that foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and radical transparency in a remote-first environment.
- Onboarding & Employee Experience: Design a world-class onboarding journey that integrates new hires into our high-performance operating system from day one.
- Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and implement lean development programs (mentorship, peer-to-peer learning) that prepare our internal talent for leadership roles as we scale.
- Data & Analytics: Treat People Ops like a product. Track and report on key metrics (eNPS, retention, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) to provide the executive team with actionable insights.
- Legal & Compliance: Ensure all people practices are compliant with local regulations in the markets where we operate, managing contracts and administrative documentation with precision.
- 5+ years of professional experience in People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or Management Consulting. We value building experience over years in a chair.
- Generalist Mindset: You are comfortable jumping from a high-level strategy meeting with the CEO to fixing a payroll discrepancy or sourcing a Senior Engineer.
- High-Growth Experience: Familiarity with the pace of a SaaS or Fintech startup. You understand that "done is better than perfect" but excellence is non-negotiable.
- Communication: Exceptional bilingual skills (Spanish and English). You will be communicating with a global team and need to be precise and empathetic in both languages.
- Tech-Savvy: Expert-level command of modern HRIS, ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lattice, Deel), and productivity tools (Notion, Slack).
- Execution-Focused: You don't just propose ideas; you build the MVP, test it, and scale it.
- Base Salary: $4,500 - $6,000 USD per month, depending on experience.
- Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary, tied to individual and company performance.
- Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): All employees are eligible from day one.
- Unlimited PTO: We encourage taking at least 3-4 weeks off per year to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Remote: AltScore is a fully remote company, allowing flexibility to work from anywhere.
