Job Description

Job Purpose: The HR Specialist supports the delivery of HR services within their regional hub, contributing to the implementation of HR initiatives and ensuring a positive employee experience. This role focuses on operational HR tasks across the employee lifecycle and provides support to the HR Delivery team and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Service Delivery: Support the execution of HR operations and processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to HR queries and requests via AskHR and key stakeholders in the lead country/ region. Ability to prioritise own day to day activities and work independently, to manage queries and support managers in lead country location.
  • Driving the best employee experience: Assist with onboarding, employee changes, engagement activities, and offboarding processes/ initiatives in the lead country and at times in the total region. Help coordinate and support adhoc HR delivery projects as required by the business and the wider HR team.
  • Policy application & improvement: Apply HR policies and procedures in line with local labour laws and company standards for lead country. Escalate complex issues to senior HR delivery team members as appropriate. Input/lead policy refresh projects using local expertise/ employee feedback to ensure policies remain relevant and easy to understand by employees/managers.
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide administrative and coordination support for employee relations cases. Assist with documentation and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Performance & Reward Support: Support the annual performance and compensation processes by preparing data, coordinating communications, and assisting managers with process navigation.
  • HR Data & Systems: Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Generate standard reports and support data accuracy for payroll and analytics.
  • Culture & Talent Initiatives: Assist in the local implementation of global HR programmes and initiatives related to culture, engagement, and development.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. HR or business-related qualification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist or HR operations role.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to support key stakeholders. Proficiency in HRIS/ HR technologies, people metrics and handling confidential information.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in the local language of the lead country and proficient in business English.
