Corporate Trainer
Job Description
The Corporate Trainer will manage corporate wide learning initiatives. A major objective of this role will be to manage and lead the assessment, design and delivery of training programs across the organization. Additionally, this role will be responsible for cross company training and new hire orientations. Other responsibilities include providing continuous improvement of learning opportunities across the organization to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the company's efforts. This role is critical to our organization as it promotes the development of our most important asset, our talent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the design and delivery and continuous improvement of the New Hire Training programs as well as on-going learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the organization’s needs
- Facilitating learning related to our technology and total suite of product offerings and information about our clients and the industry
- Contacting and scheduling internal and external lecturers and vendors for specialized training
- Utilizing a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training program
- Directing specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of improvements to the corporate training programs
- Working with key Executives (HR if applicable) in analyzing the performance of the workforce so that additional training can be prescribed and developed
- Managing training budget effectively
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Adult Education or related field
- 2-4 years of professional training experience
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development and training technologies
- Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills
- Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office and web based systems
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- CPLP credentials preferred
