Job Description

We’re looking for Director, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging to join Procore’s Global Talent team. In this role, you’ll help to accelerate our diversity, inclusion, and belonging (DIBs) transformational journey. With DIBs as a Procore executive leadership priority, you’ll serve as an agent of change, creating and evolving our strategy and initiatives that promote a culture of belonging.

As Director, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, you’ll serve as a senior-level change agent, leading the creation of meaningful strategies and innovative programs that establish a solid link to Procore’s business and talent strategies.

This position reports to VP, Diversity Inclusion and Belonging and can work remotely or be based in any of our U.S. offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do: 

  • Evolve how Procore affects employee belonging throughout the employee lifecycle and experience

  • Lead and enable company-sponsored Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure alignment with overall business objectives, and DIBs strategy

  • Provide coaching mentoring, guidance, and leadership for our employee resource groups

  • Partner with executive sponsors to oversee activities, committees, focused on the promotion of DIBs and employee engagement

  • Collaborate with the employee experience team to evolve our engagement and volunteering initiatives

  • Coach employees and leaders to recognize, accommodate, and appreciate individual differences aligned with Procore’s DIBs strategy and help teams build inclusive, respectful, innovative cultures of belonging

  • Educate, mentor, and enable senior leadership with advanced tools that create inclusive and safe spaces, mitigate unconscious bias, and instill organization-wide equitable management practices and processes

  • Partner with hiring managers, employees, Global Talent business partners, Global Talent center of excellence, internal and external communities, and customers to develop and implement policies and programs that attract, retain, and promote a diverse and inclusive global workforce

  • Build trusted partnerships with our leaders and employees to further advance our ability to tell authentic and inclusive stories.

  • Identify, develop and foster relationships with industry thought leaders, consultants, and partners to apply best practices and help drive an inclusive culture of belonging

  • Improve and report on the KPIs that measure the effectiveness and success of Procore’s DIBs initiatives in which you are responsible for

  • Cultivate partnerships with Talent Acquisition to support the growth of our recruiting approaches in order to attract diverse top talent

  • Function as a subject matter expert leveraging data from engagement surveys and organizational culture audits to inform and present recommendations to executive leadership on existing and newly develop programs

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or Psychology or equivalent preferred

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 6+ years of progressive and successful leadership experience in business and/or human resources

  • Proven experience developing, designing, and delivering global diversity and inclusion programs

  • Strong acumen with diversity, inclusion, and belonging concepts and programs

  • Highly organized, analytical, persuasive, and collaborative

  • Strong work ethic, effective conflict resolutions skills, professional transparency, and sound business acumen

  • Strong influencing skills—ability to mastermind and execute big ideas

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships

  • Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of management as a tactical and strategic partner, coach, and advisor

  • Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition to integrate DIBs concepts and applications into recruiting
