The HR Generalist is responsible for a wide range of HR tasks including: assisting with recruiting support, administering employee benefits and leaves of absence and crafting HR policies. They will use the Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. They also act as a point of contact for employees’ questions on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer benefit and compensation plans
  • Support annual open enrollment preparation and execution 
  • Answer employee benefit questions 
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Post jobs
  • Assist hiring managers with reviewing candidates
  • Create talent pools to keep in touch with candidates
  • Assist with employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Update and maintain HRIS data
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Manage the performance management system
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Maintain employee files and records
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and Multi-state labor regulations

 

Experience You Bring:

 
  • 5-10 years of experience in HR
  • Experience in a growing tech company is a plus
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • System-savvy (we use G-Suite, Zenefits, Small Improvements and Jira regularly)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or a related field or equivalent work experience required
