Recruiter
What we’re looking for:
As a Recruiter at Modernize, you'll be on the forefront of a growing organization where you will play a key role in building strong teams within a diverse culture. You will partner with the business on meeting hiring goals by writing job descriptions, sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing, and extending offers. You will work closely with our People Operations team to build our employer brand, identify top talent, and champion the candidate experience.
We are in the business of connecting homeowners with high-quality local home improvement contractors and located in the heart of downtown Austin. Our downtown office space has an open floor plan that encourages collaboration and pushing each other to be our best. What you will do:
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process including, posting jobs, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and closing offers
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and translate them into job profiles
- Act as the social media advocate for Modernize’s employer brand
- Assist in coordinating recruiting events
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
- Develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies with the hiring teams
- Manage the pipeline activity and maintain data accuracy in our Applicant Tracking System
What you need:
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
- 2+ years recruiting for technical positions within the software development lifecycle
- International recruiting is a huge plus
- Solid experience managing the recruiting pipeline via an applicant tracking system (ie: Greenhouse, Lever, Jobvite, Taleo etc..)
- Strong background in building sourcing pipelines both active and passive of top talent
- Knowledge of HR best practices as it relates to talent acquisition
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing tools, including internet research, boolean search strings, Linkedin, ATS mining, and comfort with cold calling
