woom is looking for a Recruiter to create a strategic hiring approach to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent, as well as support continued development, diversity & inclusion and engagement within the organization. In the Talent Acquisition team within Employee Experience (HR), you will play a critical role that encourages passion, courage, and innovation – helping bring to life the future of our people experience and making an important, positive impact on millions of children around the world through laying the foundation where our woomsters can thrive.

The ideal candidate will have experience in partnering with hiring managers, negotiating strategies, excellent organizational abilities, and should be familiar with developing recruitment marketing strategies that effectively source, attract and retain top talent. This role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills as they work closely with leaders across all departments to cultivate the ideal candidate experience.

  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process, including job descriptions and postings, screening, sourcing, individual and panel interview coordination and scheduling, feedback facilitation, final selection, and offer extension and negotiations
  • Provide a great end-to-end candidate experience through thoughtful and effective communication
  • Devise and implement strategic recruiting tactics to attract top-performing employees, such as employer branding initiatives
  • Work with leadership to understand the hiring needs of the organization
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitate candidate lifecycle processes
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
  • Organize and attend job fairs and other recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Help woom celebrate and recognize employees that are demonstrating our core values of joy, courage, and responsibility
  • Assist with our engagement efforts to support diversity and inclusion
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • 3+ years of recruitment or talent experience
  • Technology enthusiast and has worked with a variety of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, & processes (Greenhouse.io, Workday, JazzHR, or comparable)
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • High level of interpersonal skills – we are all about our employees and this role requires high focus on a candidate experience that puts people first
  • Agile and adaptable, with strong relationship-building orientation across Talent Acquisition and EX and the business; able to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Outstanding project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and administer multiple projects under super tight deadline
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay close attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment; able to navigate and resolve ambiguity
  • Strong ability to prioritize and re-prioritize throughout the day with great efficiency
