About us:

Our mission is simple—we’re changing the way we care for our parents so they can live safely at home as they age. But how we accomplish our mission is anything but simple. Every day, we’re solving complex problems that don’t come with a playbook. Sound exciting? If you’re someone who shares our core values—Own the Outcome, Solve with Empathy, and Act with Honor—let’s talk.

Founded in 2014, Honor is now one of the fastest-growing, non-medical home care companies in the U.S. Why? We realized that by combining our amazing technology and operations with the local, personal touch of our partner agencies, we could make real progress transforming this fast-growing, $30BN industry. Honor’s unique approach is driving our leadership as an innovator—and our rapid growth. We have cutting-edge machine learning, a beautiful, well-designed app, and industry-leading design, paired with a strong sales, marketing, and support engine. But we're not a tech company, we're a human company. The technology we design just helps our people be even better at their jobs.

We are looking for a Recruiting Manager to autonomously own the outcome of market specific recruiting operations. The role responsibly manages Honor’s resources by managing a team of Recruiters and Senior Recruiters who must balance exceptional new Care Pro experience with overall recruiting costs across assigned markets.

About you:

  • 2+ years experience in people management and team building preferred
  • 4+ years experience in operations (preferably recruiting, customer success, sales and/or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop employees
  • Ability to strategically plan, execute and pivot quickly as needed
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, with the ability to influence and adapt to different stakeholders

About the work:

  • Team management
    • Develop, manage and lead a team of Recruiters and Senior Recruiters
    • Provide clarity and direction to team on targets and goals by market and region
    • Set expectations on individual and team performance and hold team accountable through regular coaching and feedback
    • Manage team resourcing so that team members can be dynamically staffed to support different markets, depending on need
    • Lead team through change and ambiguity as targets and needs evolve with a focus on problem solving and support
  • Cross-functional partnership
    • Support Regional General Managers with weekly deliverables through regular communication and partnership to reach goals (hires, funnel management, community events, outreach, etc)
    • Ensure tight team alignment with Client Managers to understand market needs, and quickly reprioritize your team to address those needs
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments (Product, Central Ops, Marketing, etc) to optimize systems and processes
  • Funnel management
    • Own the success of the full lifecycle of Care Pro recruitment (from top of funnel to initial utilization, and with a focus on conversion and funnel velocity) for assigned markets
    • Focus on both tactical outcomes (phone screens, funnel touchpoints, on hold follow through) and strategic direction (phone screen optimization, ATS product initiatives) to drive recruiting performance
    • Optimize existing funnel management approaches and innovate new strategies to enable team to achieve goals
