Responsibilities:
- Administer global group benefit and wellness programs such as health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), COBRA, and other plans
- Assist employees with employee-sponsored benefit enrollment, questions, and claims
- Manage and support all leaves of absence including FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA, parental leave, and military leave; work with employees, managers, leadership and third-party administrators, as required
- Monitor benefit management systems and HRIS, ensuring data accuracy across all systems and automated feeds
- Establish and maintain purchase orders for benefit invoices and contracts
- Audit, process and reconcile invoices from insurance providers; submit invoices to AP for timely payment
- Complete benefit plan audits and reconciliations, including semi-monthly payroll deductions and 401(k) contributions and loans utilizing pivot tables and vlookup
- Support annual US benefit and 401(k) compliance calendar and external plan audits
- Draft benefit materials, communications and education materials, collaborating across multiple groups
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state legal requirements for qualified plans including plan documents, summary plan descriptions, vendor contracts, policy manuals, compliance testing, audits, and government filings
- Various duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or other applicable field of study, preferred, but not required
- 5+ years experience in HR and/or benefits administration
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data and confidentiality
- Prior experience with leave administration including ADA and reasonable accommodation, a plus
- Ability to identify and solve problems, escalating issues as necessary
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team setting
- Excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
