We asked ourselves — What if better care didn't cost more?

That's why we built Vitable: a YC-backed, Series A healthtech platform making healthcare better for employers of everyday workers. We bring accessible, high-quality care to over 85 million uninsured and underinsured Americans. Unlike traditional options, our suite of health benefits is designed with real people at the center.

Vitable empowers businesses to become better employers by making it easy to offer healthcare benefits to their teams. Simply put, we're built for better.

We're growing rapidly and looking for hungry team members passionate about delivering better care to the everyday worker. Does that sound like you?

The Role

As an HRA Operations Associate at Vitable, you'll serve as both a licensed insurance agent and a member experience specialist — helping members navigate their ICHRA/HRA insurance options, benefits enrollment, and Vitable care. This is a weekend-inclusive, full-time remote role ideal for someone who brings insurance expertise, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to member service.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality member support via phone, email, and chat (5 days/week including weekends)
  • Assist members with insurance education, eligibility, and enrollment — including ICHRA and HRA plan details and ACA marketplace options
  • Submit insurance applications to carriers and own cases through approval
  • Answer benefit-specific questions and troubleshoot carrier or cross-functional issues
  • Help members navigate the healthcare system and understand their coverage
  • Coordinate resources for members needing services outside Vitable's scope
  • Identify and escalate recurring issues to improve the member experience

What We're Looking For

  • Active health insurance license required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, member services, or insurance operations
  • Familiarity with ICHRA, HRA, or ACA marketplace plans strongly preferred
  • Empathetic, confident communicator — especially on the phone
  • Availability to work 5 days/week including weekends (required)
  • Experience with HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar tools a plus

Benefits & Perks

  • 100% Silver Plan + Full Medical Coverage
  • Dental and Vision Coverage
  • 401(k) and Life Insurance
  • Access to Vitable's Primary Care membership

Vitable Health is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
