Contrarian Thinking is looking for a Senior HubSpot Lead who thrives at the intersection of CRM architecture, automation, and technical execution.

This role is for someone who enjoys building clean systems, fixing messy ones, and making HubSpot actually function the way a growing company needs it to.

You will partner with the Head of Revenue & the Head of Marketing on the technical build and architecture of our HubSpot ecosystem. You will have support on system strategy, requirements, and you will help implement, maintain, and optimize scalable HubSpot solutions that support marketing, sales, member success, partnerships, and operations. You will also work across our broader GTM tech stack to ensure integrations, data flow, and automation function cleanly across systems and support the full customer journey.

What You’ll DoHubSpot Architecture & Implementation
  • Support complex HubSpot implementations, migrations, and system rebuilds
  • Design scalable CRM architecture across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Ops Hub
  • Build advanced workflows, automation, lifecycle logic, lead routing, and lead scoring
  • Create and maintain custom objects, properties, pipelines, and permission structures
  • Implement strong data governance and CRM hygiene standards
  • Build reporting dashboards used by leadership and operational teams
  • Support HubSpot integrations and data syncs with external systems
  • Ensure systems support accurate reporting, forecasting, and attribution
  • Create and update documentation
Systems & Technical Execution
  • Translate RevOps strategy and requirements into clean, scalable HubSpot builds
  • Think 3–5 steps ahead when designing systems so they scale with the business
  • Identify potential process or data issues before they happen
  • Ask thoughtful questions to clarify requirements rather than making assumptions
  • Help design and maintain systems that are clean, maintainable, and well-structured
  • Work across our GTM tech stack to ensure integrations and automation function correctly
Documentation & Enablement
  • Maintain clear system documentation
  • Create Loom walkthroughs and SOPs for internal teams
  • Ensure systems are transparent, usable, and maintainable for the organization
What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of deep, hands-on HubSpot experience
  • Have worked on full implementations, migrations, or complex CRM rebuilds
  • Are comfortable designing CRM systems from scratch and cleaning up current builds
  • Have strong opinions about clean CRM architecture and data structure
  • Are highly detail-oriented and care about system integrity
  • Ask questions early to avoid technical debt later
  • Proactive communicator
  • Take ownership of problems and find the best solution, not the easiest one
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working at a HubSpot Solutions Partner or agency
  • Experience leading technical projects
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
    • Avoma
    • Zapier
    • Loom
    • Notion
    • Payment Systems
    • Google Workspace
