ABOUT THE ROLE & THE TEAM:

As a strategic partner to our GTM, Marketing, and Finance teams, you will provide guidance across the entire employee lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, driving People initiatives that support SEON’s growth, operational excellence, and core values.

This role offers flexibility and can be based in Austin, TX with a hybrid schedule, or remotely in the US on either EST or CST time zone, including occasional travel to our other offices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Business Alignment: Serve as the primary, trusted advisor for an assigned business unit, deeply understanding their product roadmap, commercial objectives, and translating these needs into proactive People plans (resource gaps, L&D needs).

  • Org Design & Talent: Partner with leadership on headcount planning, structural design, and succession planning to ensure teams are optimized for scale.

  • Performance & Development: Facilitate performance reviews, drive talent identification with managers, and guide the creation of IDPs to support long-term career growth and internal mobility. Provide day-to-day coaching to managers on goal setting and career development.

  • Employee Relations (ER): Manage and resolve complex and sensitive ER issues (investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions) while ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.

  • Compensation: Advise on compensation philosophy using Pave data to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and effective off-cycle promotion management.

    Onboarding & Lifecycle: Oversee the effective execution of the entire employee lifecycle within the business unit, driving manager accountability for employee engagement, retention, and timely offboarding.

  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are clearly communicated and consistently applied across your assigned business unit, maintaining compliance with all local and federal labor regulations.

  • HR Data & Analytics: Leverage HR data and key metrics ( attrition, engagement, retention) to provide insights to managers, helping them make informed, data-driven decisions about their teams.

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee the smooth, end-to-end employee lifecycle for the business unit, spanning from new hire onboarding and orientation to managing offboarding and exit processes.

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience operating as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (preferably within a tech start up environment).

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations cases, performance improvement plans, and investigations.

  • Solid knowledge of labor law and compliance requirements. International employment law experience is a plus

  • Experience working with an HRIS system (HiBob) and Pave and leveraging basic HR reporting capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of empathy, integrity, and confidentiality.
