Who We Are

At BrightOrder, we power the fleets that keep the world moving.

Our EMDECS platform and connected hardware solutions help operators run smarter, safer, and more profitably. We are building the future of AI-assisted fleet management -  and we are scaling.

Scaling requires disciplined hiring and organized people operations.

That’s where you come in.

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining full-cycle recruiting with HR coordination.

You will play a key role in helping us hire exceptional people while ensuring our HR processes remain organized, compliant, and professional.

You will work closely with the Head of HR and partner with leaders across the business to support recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR coordination.

This role requires someone who enjoys both recruiting and structured operations.

It is not purely administrative, and it is not purely recruiting.

It is the connective point between hiring great people and ensuring our HR processes are executed with discipline and precision.

What You’ll Do

Recruiting:

  • Run full-cycle recruiting from intake to signed offer
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and networks
  • Screen candidates and coordinate structured interview processes
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure consistent hiring standards
  • Conduct reference checks and assist with offer preparation
  • Maintain recruiting pipelines and candidate communications

HR Coordination:

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR files
  • Prepare employment verification letters and other employee documentation
  • Track policy acknowledgements and training completion
  • Assist with updates to HR policies and internal documentation

HR Operations Support:

  • Assist with immigration and work permit processes when required
  • Support coordination of Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) activities and documentation
  • Participate in internal culture initiatives and the Social Committee
  • Support HR communications and internal people programs
  • Help ensure HR processes remain organized, consistent, and well documented

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years experience in recruiting and HR coordination
  • Experience running full-cycle recruiting independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment practices
  • Experience supporting multiple departments in a growing company
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Comfortable using modern tools and AI to improve workflows
  • Located in Canada and legally authorized to work here
You are someone who:
  • Creates structure where others see chaos
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Takes ownership of outcomes
  • Follows through on details
This Role Is Not For You If:
  • You prefer highly structured corporate environments with narrow responsibilities
  • You only want to focus on recruiting or only on HR administration
  • You struggle to stay organized across multiple priorities
  • You prefer waiting for instructions instead of taking initiative
  • You are uncomfortable managing confidential employee information

This role requires ownership, organization, and strong follow-through.

BrightOrder values Passion, Integrity, Growth Mindset, Authenticity, and Accountability.

You thrive in structure.
You move with urgency.
You don’t let details slip.

If you’re reading this thinking, “I can make this smoother and stronger,” we want to meet you.
