The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to the human resource department and other related services as assigned.


Responsibilities

HR Division Support

  • Maintain and scans department files
  • Order department supplies and ensures area is stocked appropriately
  • Manage loan forgiveness, subpoenas, daily mail, unemployment requests & tracking


  • Assist employees in policy and procedure interpretation
  • Serve as a positive role model in representing the HR department & UC Health’s PRIIDE Core Values, policies, and procedures
  • Takes the initiative in identifying & facilitating the resolution of employee requests through research, communication & cooperation w/internal & external personnel.
  • Attends weekly department meetings/huddles & periodically committee meetings.
  • Process union(s) dues to payroll.
  • Review and distribute monthly reports to the Union(s) and Labor Relations.
  • AMP Tracer file review.
  • Conduct exit interviews.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Assist applicants with the electronic application.
  • Adhere to Joint Commission requirements and assists in survey preparation and activities.  Field questions including but not limited to: benefits, employee parking, Staff Development and Education requirements, ePayroll, email access, dress code policy, referral bonus program.
  • Work with Parking and Access Control and/or Public Safety to coordinate badges/parking.

Total Rewards

  • Answer routine benefit questions for employees and managers 
  • Generally understands UC Health pay practices.

Recognition, events, special services

  • Participate in the planning and staffing of programs and events; recognition, open enrollment, employee engagement.
  • May pull data or run reports to support various HR initiatives
QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma required
